June 2024 Preview & Choose Your Game

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay here. One of the games was wrapping up rules, while the others have been wrapping up everything else. We are getting closer to fulfillment for the June package and we just wanted to go over what you'll be receiving.

As for July, we should have that update out pretty soon too. It’s a stacked month with lots of ROVE and some other goodies.

If you started supporting us on or after June 1, 2024, your first package will be July and you can ignore the rest of this message. :)

Featured Wallet Game - Championland: Volleyball

Every year the grand arenas of Championland overflow with hopeful athletes and excited crowds. Block, set, and spike against your opponent to become a true Champion!

Championland is a series of standalone 18-card games which uses a single rules system for all entries, then adds individual rules for each specific game to capture the experience of that sport. Every Championland game includes two 9-card decks numbered 1-9. Each player takes a deck, shuffles it, and fans it out in their hand. On a turn, they’ll play only a single card and the card played MUST come from the furthest edge of their hand on either side. Players cannot reorder their hand, so they must make the best of the choices they have available!

In Championland: Volleyball, players take turns placing a single card to one of their 3 hit spots. Each card played must extend a run of consecutive cards in that spot. Players compare their hit spots against the opposing player’s to determine who is currently leading: the player with the most consecutive cards (or the highest card, if both players have only one) is leading. Some cards have special abilities that control where the opponent can play on their next turn. If a player is leading in two spots at the start of their turn, or the opposing player can’t make a legal move on theirs, they win the round. The first player to win 3 rounds is the champion!

Expansion - Ancient Realm: Leaders - Set II

The course of history can be steered by powerful leaders. Achieve their goals alongside other major milestones to make the most of their singular talents.

Leaders - Set II introduces 6 renowned leaders from major eras in history. One leader takes control of your civilization at setup, adding a new scoring requirement that must be met at the end of the game. Another is used for its milestone. Milestones are events which happen during play; on completing a milestone, you are bound by a new rule that impacts your society for the rest of the game. Meet your leader's goal and complete your milestone to secure your civilization's enduring legacy!
