We started shipping, but there's a small issue that needs resolution. Read for details.
Added 2024-04-18 19:56:31 +0000 UTCHello everyone! Just wanted to let you know that we shipped the March club packages out to our US supporters. Some of you may have received your packages already, but many are probably still in transit. Unfortunately, we discovered an issue after these were shipped that will only affect a portion of the copies of The Last Lighthouse.
ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED
Here are the details:
We mailed out about 800 club packages. 1/8 of those have an issue affecting the cardbacks of 2 nightmare cards that needs resolution (see example image below showing the correct cardback pairing and the incorrect cardback pairing). This should only impact about 100 US Patrons.
Please check your copies. If you have the error, we will replace those cards. Contact us via this form and we will arrange a replacement. NOTE: The replacement cards will take about a month to arrive here.

As for the others, there is a difference but it is VERY MINOR and we do not believe replacements are needed so we are calling this one "not an issue".
NOT AN ISSUE - DOES NOT NEED RESOLUTION
1/8 of the remaining print run has a different front and back pairing than intended, (see example image below) but we are not considering this an issue.
You only use the fronts of those cards and they sit on the table for the entirety of the game. We believe that it would be wasteful to reprint those cards, so we are proceeding with them as-is. We will separate them and not send them to International or UK club members (just so that all backers are on the same page), but we will be proceeding with them later as the backs of those cards do not impact gameplay in any way.
This should also impact about 100 members. But once again, we do not to intend to replace these and fully support both versions. If you have any issues on this matter, please email us at buttonshyhelp@gmail.com.

The remaining 6/8 of the print run has the planned front and back pairings shown at the top of each image. When we reprint the game, those are the pairings that we will proceed with in the future. Sorry for the small snag in the process. We have a solid new team here that put together some steps to prevent it from happening again

Basically, if they can attack the lighthouse, no traps can be attacked. Every nightmare in range of the lighthouse hits the lighthouse for one damage. If the lighthouse can't be reached, the nightmares can only attack one trap at a time starting with the left most trap. If the trap survives, the next left most trap is attacked. The trap can be targeted by all nightmares in range and is removed if attacked by enough nightmares. The nightmares can only defeat one trap per round and stops attacking after a trap is defeated. If all the traps survive, you move on to the next step.

2024-04-22 17:21:48 +0000 UTCThis may not be the right place for rules questions, but I'm hoping someone can help me out with when nightmares attack. Do I understand correctly that, if at least one nightmare is in range to attack the lighthouse, the lighthouse suffers a damage but no traps are then attacked, even if other nightmares could attack those traps? And if no nightmares can attack the lighthouse, I'm unclear how they attack traps. From left to right, do they defeat as many traps as possible, or is it similar to the lighthouse where after a single trap is defeated that satisfies the nightmares and the phase ends, even if other traps could theoretically be defeated? Thanks! Really enjoying the game, assuming I'm not way off base on my rules interpretation.

2024-04-19 14:19:20 +0000 UTCI'm in the second group (too many grey backs). Thanks for the clarification, since I was otherwise wondering why one of the expansions didn't have grey backs.
