Hello everyone! February is just two days away and I'm happy to say that January was a huge success here in getting things out on time. There are still lots of ways to improve things, but we started shipping January in January and I believe all of it is out the door by now. The one exception will always be UK since we send everything to UK, it goes through customs and the UK hub sends to you. Those are always about 2-4 weeks behind the US. But some SERIOUS progress here. And it really feels great to have such a the huge weight of the old BGOTMC lifted. It was just too much and we were just too deep.
I'll continue to bring this up each time until they are all gone. We sent a whole bunch of these out in mid-January and the next batch will probably be mid-February. It'll be Picky Pixie, Moving Pictures: Marked For Mystery, a few postcards, and 2 of the role playing games (for those at the role playing levels in those months). More on that in about a week or so as we lock in the contents.
Let's see how we did.
1) I said "I'd like to see it out a week before the month starts."
We're two days before the month starts. So that's a step in the right direction. Still lots of room for improvement.
2) I also said "I'd like to have all of the content ready for you to make this as awesome as it should be. That means full flavor and descriptive text, full product images, PNPs for all included games, etc."
We have most of it, but I did find an issue for the PNP. We won't upload the PNP until it's the featured month, so it will follow the previews at the beginning of its featured month.
But speaking of PNPs - Make sure to grab the January ones before the month ends. We will pull them on Feb 1. If you need links, see the January Preview post here at Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/posts/january-2024-95656053?cid=125989600
3) Finally, I said "The preview will also include a link to choose your wallet game right there instead of a separate post."
As I was thinking about this one, I realized we could have new backers at the end of the month that would be eligible, but they wouldn't see the update, so it'll come separately at the beginning of the month. And overall we might just make this a public post going forward and then have all of the private stuff behind closed doors at the start of the month.
Metronn: a massive city filled with neon color and alien architecture. In the labyrinth of alleys between districts a grinning sentrybot chases a twisted figure, bent by dark magic. As their battle explodes suddenly in the middle of the street, bystanders run for cover while cameras broadcast every move to giant screens. Finally, a spectacle worthy of Metronn.

The Metronn Base Game includes two heroes, Kaladeos and Exa (and her minion, Sparkles), and the Metronn map. All in just 18 cards, packed in our little wallets. No additional components are needed to play, though it is compatible with all other Battlecrest products (including the Fellwoods Base Game, the Imperator Solo Expansion, and the team play rules).

The course of history can be steered by powerful leaders. Achieve their goals alongside other major milestones to make the most of their singular talents.

Leaders - Set 1 introduces 6 renowned leaders from major eras in history. One leader takes control of your civilization at setup, adding a new scoring requirement that must be met at the end of the game. Another is used for its milestone. Milestones are events which happen during play; on completing a milestone, you are bound by a new rule that impacts your society for the rest of the game. Meet your leader's goal and complete your milestone to secure your civilization's enduring legacy!

A master art thief requires two things: timing and taste. Secure the finest artwork before your rival can to cement your status as a world-class art thief.

In The Greatest of Art Thieves, two rivals square off in a bid to secure the most valuable pair of stolen artworks. Each turn, the active player chooses one of the two pieces of artwork in their hand to drop, placing it into either the face-up Exhibition or the face-down Private Collection. Then they burgle the top card of the area they didn't choose, replacing the card they dropped. The heist ends when the Private Collection has been fully pilfered or when one thief pulls the alarm using one of a few specific cards in their hand. Each player then tallies their score based on the value in their hand, scoring extra points for nabbing a pair from the same artist. Play another round until one player reaches 21 and proves themselves to be the superior thief.
