Friday Art Preview - 1/20/23
Added 2023-01-20 14:43:28 +0000 UTCIt's Friday, so time for an Art Preview! This week we have some more TwinStars: Moonset artwork for you, as well as some cool sketches.
Today we have some sketches from Ancient Realm. This one here is the statue of Zeus. One thing all the Wonders of the Ancient World have in common is that they're BIG! This one is no different, measuring in at 41 feet tall. Part of making them look so large is with the use of perspective.
The second sketch from Ancient Realm is of the Great Pyramids of Giza. The artist explained that when coloring these sketches they will use some interesting texture technique on the pyramids. We are looking forward to seeing these illustrations when they are completed and finishing the cards up.
Our last image for the day is for TwinStars: Moonset. This is the Gnome Thief. Part of the art direction for this game was to make the characters look a little different from your typical fantasy characters. The Gnomes in TwinStars: Moonset are a little taller and thinner than the gnomes in other fantasy settings. It's always fun to see new art come in and see how the artist took our direction and make it their own.
