Cool, now for the June Preview!

First, for starters we have our $5 + Patron reward. The Final Light-Year continues! June's postcard brings us Infernus, a sentient AI consisting of an armada of drones that has the ability to adapt and replicate. This Patron Tier will also receive 2 cards, a Rogue Drone/Hijacked Vessel and The Fringe Hunt Event.

I hope our $10+ Patrons are ready for a quest! They'll be receiving Advance Quest, a Solo micro-game designed by CC Chamberlin. Create a hero using eight defining characteristics, like Archer of the Realm or Chainmail or Stealthy. Assign them dice ranging from d12 to d6. Note your Health and Stamina levels, and then start the adventure.

Using a clever new exploration mechanic, each foray into the story will offer different challenges using a simple combination of two elements. Select two of your own traits and roll off against the two story elements, and see if you can beat the dangerous situation. If you roll well, you survive to continue on. If you fail, you will take damage. But don't despair – you can spend Stamina to re-roll dice before you apply their effects! If you can make it through the story, you win! Your score is how many treasures you manage to collect along the way – see if you can beat your high score by playing again!
And finally for our $20+ Patrons get ready for a road trip through Southeast California. That's right we're going to Death Valley and we'll be taking some photos along the way.

Sunlight glaring through the windshield. Your favorite songs blasting through the speakers. Candy bar wrappers piled next to a warm drink in the cheap plastic cupholder. Your companion riding in the passenger seat, snapping pictures of landmarks as you settle into the hypnotic rhythm of the road. But be careful: this fun road trip could get dangerous as you drive through Death Valley.
Death Valley is a pocket-sized, push-your-luck, tableau building game for 1-2 players, with each traveler striving to assemble the best mix of cards in their Journey and Scrapbook in order to win the game.

Each turn, players will choose whether to assign a card to their Journey, or move cards from their Journey to their Scrapbook. Cards feature stars (points), special abilities (affect the value and position of cards), and some interesting facts about Death Valley.

Each card also has a hazard (Heat, Terrain, Flood or Animals) listed. Having 3 of the same Hazard visible in their tableau will cause the player to bust and lose all the progress in their Journey.
At the end of the game the player with the most stars in their Journey, plus any additional points from card abilities, is the winner.
Death Valley also has two alternate play modes including a Backseat Driver variant where players may choose to play the face-up card on their opponent’s journey as well as their own. There is also a Solo mode designed by Kevin Ellenburg and Mike Mullins which will put you up against an AI player.

This Patron Tier will also include the Death Valley: Panamint City Expansion. This expansion consists of 6 more cards, letting you customize the deck before playing Death Valley.
And that's everything for June! I hope you're all excited, There's a lot of cool thing's in this month's package. Thank you to everyone for being patient with the April Deliveries and outstanding international packages, we are finishing them up as we speak. We will be working very hard on making things move quicker and more efficiently in the future!

And now a quick interruption from Jason. We forgot that Adder was going into the dropbox today and it didn't make the cut for Wednesday's update. If you want to play a fast, 2P realtime chase game, it's a small and easy build. Thanks everyone and back to mailing these packages!
