The Personal Space PNP is here

Welcome to your very own Personal Space. A continuous game of living your very best life.

This is mostly for the PNP subscribers, but I wanted to send it to everyone just incase players wanted a second charcacter for a family member or themselves (!?), but also incase new members wanted to play before their starter kit arrives. We have a bunch of starter kits that need to go out, so if you joined in Oct or later, yours is still to come. Anyone that joined before Oct 1 should already have one. If not, please comment here so we can see what's up. 

So what is Personal Space?

In Personal Space, you’ll play up to once a day (if you would like to) and experience a little bit of the daily life on your planet. You can go to your job, collect resources, explore side  moons, interact with your neighbors, interact with other players, and  much more.

There are real life elements to the game (your real life weather and  time of day will matter), and there is some real life communication involved as well (somehow it's a game that you play solo, but with the in game community you never really play alone).

The game uses Roll & Write elements to try to squeeze in as much  as possible in your Daily Grid. Do you want to load up on resources every day incase there’s something awesome to trade or use them for? Go for it. Maybe you just want to concentrate on a hobby? Or set daily goals and knock them off your to-do list? Or just wander in the rain in the middle of the night? Much of this is possible.

Within each of the actions you take are small dice games. Some like fishing in your pond require betting on the outcome and rolling for success. All of this can be manipulated by your daily stats of Brainpower, Luck and Creativity. Each allows you a unique way to manipulate die rolls, but these are limited in each game session.

There are also continuous or legacy elements where you place stickers onto cards, customizing your experience and making your game unlike any other.

This looks confusing, right? 

The basics are pretty easy to get the hang of, and then you can slowly dive into the deeper ends of the game. But you might have some questions. The community at discord will answer everything and help you along. But there are some videos that will help even more. We can't embed videos in posts here anymore so I'll just add a pretty picture after the links. :)

FAQ: Everyone else has so much stuff. How do I catch up?

Glad that you asked. We did a community drive a few weeks ago and had everyone make donations for the new users. So when you start playing, you'll get some $, some resources and maybe some cool items too. 

And like I said, the community is everything. Check out what they donated over that weekend. 

I think that's enough to get you going. Oh one more thing. Some people don't even print everything, they just play on an ipad, or on a google sheet or sometimes just on scraps of paper (like my recent plays when I ran out of sheets). Mine are ugly as ever so I'll share Ahmed "Noted Historian" Wiley's.
