Before we get into this month's Kickstarter, some news:

First of all, September packages are delayed. I apologize for the backup. The juggling this month just didn't go as smooth as it's usual not-so-smooth self. (back to school, sick kids & parents too, Pentaquark's big success, Pod-X's intense number crunching, etc) But the packages are probably going to arrive here in about 10 days, and then head right out to you. Part of this delay also includes Pod-X (for those of you who were getting it), so that should be going out around the same time.

The good news is that October will probably arrive here a week later and go right out too. September was a lot of juggling here, but I think you'll be happy with the postcard game, the IT Crowd inspired You're Fired promo card, and at the $10+ levels, a fun little Benny Sperling microgame. 

The second set of news is for $20 subscribers only. Previously we asked here which game you wanted for the month. We're going to start doing it in a special post just before the games ship. I'll let you know which one is brand new and going out, and if you want a different one, you can just choose from the list. It'll keep things current and less confusing since we aren't projecting 2 months out.

The October (IS IT OCTOBER ALREADY?!?) Kickstarter Wallet game is Ahead In The Clouds, a two player resource management euro game by Daniel Newman.

The citizens of the Empacta skies long for the days where everyone, not just the wealthy, can ditch their masks and breathe the precious air that they call their home. As an industrialist, you will collect dust particles from the air and water vapor from the clouds to convert to hydrogen and oxygen.

By collecting, converting and selling these precious resources, you can provide your family with the breathing room that you need to keep your business afloat and go home at night knowing you made a difference to the world with fresh air.

Players are industrialists in the clouds, pulling dust from the air to create stone, and condensing water vapor to use and convert to hydrogen and oxygen. By collecting and converting resources, they need to fulfill specific contracts. The player who is the most successful at fulfilling the contracts and has the most resources at the end of the game wins.

Designed by Daniel Newman with art by Bryan Fischer. Gameplay lasts 15-30 minutes and recommended for ages 12 and up. We revealed the PNP in our last update.
