Avignon again, but now with full art. Plus we've (sort of) unlocked bonus content!

We shared the Avignon print and play last week, but now we have it with full art! What is full art though? I should clarify. Full art is not final art. It's just something that is a lot closer to the final version than what you've seen before. 

Here are some of the drastic changes from the No Art version to the Full Art version, as well as some things that will still be changing in the Full Art version.

CHANGES

• Most of the words on cards have been reduced down to icons and very brief text. 
• We replaced the lane-defining cards on the side with a map from Avignon to Rome. Players will push and pull their characters across Europe to further represent the French / Papal conflicts of the 14th century.
• We now have the amazing art of Fabrice Weiss.
• In the rules, we are now suggesting that all players rotate all character cards to face themselves at the beginning of their turn. (Note: This does not include any cards that are in the congregations, map, draw deck or discard pile. Just the cards currently in play)
• The logo still needs a little 

CHANGES STILL TO COME

• The map will not be as blurry as it is now. 
• The backgrounds behind the characters and their names may end up being more uniform. 
• Sizes of icons are still being played with.

Other than that, you should get a really good representation of how Avignon will look and play with this PNP. If you get it to the table, please send us your thoughts!

Avignon is coming to Kickstarter January 5th and remember that patrons here receive discounts on all of our Kickstarter campaigns. I'll have details on how to arrange that closer to the campaign launch.

Bonus Content!

Also, I promised some hints for what is coming in each package. Well, the Cult Film is a great one. Perhaps the greatest. Also, we're so close to the $250 bonus content (actually we passed it, but then Patreon got funny and adjusted the numbers so they reflect the amount we are receiving after they take their fees - interesting, semi-helpful, but also kind of weird), but we're in a good place to say that we should be getting that bonus content. 

The first thing that we're giving away is a bonus card for Movie Plotz by Alex Strang for all $5 and up subscriptions. If you haven't played Movie Plotz, it's a party style wallet game of ours, where the players start with a simple sentence ("A man walks a dog") and each player must continue to develop the film, using the card limitations they draw ("Make the story more action packed" - ex: "A man walks a dog across a 4-lane highway"). The game is one of our best selling games and there's even a monthly comedy show based on it in Philly each month.

The bonus card is tied directly into the Cult Film of the month, sometimes a subtle reference... and sometimes very direct. All I can say about the first one is that it's very interesting in what it does to the story.

By the end of the 12 months, year-long subscribers will have a full 12 card expansion for Movie Plotz, titled Cult Movie Plotz. This may be available down the line (As well as in pieces for those who missed a month here or there), but you will all get it for free. :)

Now we just need to reach $250 again!
