I hate this episode. Not because of the content as such, but it's basically filler; a set up for the series finale. The Big Bad Villain Cavill comes back after extended AWOL that has done his character no favours, we suddenly learn of the Big Bad Villain Colony HQ that's conveniently never been mentioned or alluded to until now, which gives the ailing Galactica her chance to go out in a blaze of glory. There has been some good plot build; said dying leader seems to have accelerated her journey to whatever counts as Battlestar heaven, and at least the plotline with Hera suddenly becoming a hybrid Rosetta Stone out of nowhere has had *some* time to percolate.
