Paula's mood is understandble, it can be exhausting to watch people make emotional mistakes repeatedly, but it's kind of funny that she's like "I'm sick of this shit, I don't care about any of you anymore", when that's the mood of the characters she's angry about. Wanting them to pull together, and find a solution despite the odds, is exactly what they've been struggling to do for 4 years. The've endured going through hell after hell, because they had a hope: that Earth would be their salvation. And now it's been revealed to be a fraud, and that their suffering and sacrifices and losses were for amost nothing. Naturally, everyone would break down. I'm a little confused specifically at getting mad at Laura for not handing in her resignation. She literally tried to in this episode, during her conversation with Adama. While you were telling her to, actually. He told her not to becasue it would be worse (that's how he sees it, at least). Regardless, still enjoying these reactions, I hope you find a way to make peace with the current characters' despair and come to enjoy the show again. :)

2025-07-24 02:40:57 +0000 UTCI personally don’t think they’re adding drama just for the sake of it or that the story is treading water. The characters feel like flawed people reacting to events in a realistic way.
