Re: The deleted scenes involving Starbug. If you look at the deleted scenes from Series 6 (when the Core Four were chasing Red Dwarf), I swear they could've strung together the deleted Starbug cockpit scenes to make an ENTIRE episode of them shooting zingers at each other in the cockpit. In fact, the deleted scenes from the Emohawk episode are almost ALL deleted scenes from the Starbug cockpit where the quips are flying fast and furious between all four of the actors. If they had stuck with playing cat-and-mouse with the automated probe while bickering in the cockpit, and cut the entire back-half out? It would have made for a MUCH better episode. In Robert Llewellyn's book, he mentions that the Starbug cockpit scenes tend to be his favorite because, in a strange way, the four of them tend to treat it like a get-out-of-jail-free card in between takes where they basically hilariously shoot the shit and shoot zingers at each other.
