Please try and stop with the constant Moffat rants, there's things your clearly never gonna like about his writing and you said yourself you are sounding like a stuck record, maybe just try to focus on the the good parts of his writing instead. Also, Paula, when it comes to the Manhattan ep, please try and be open minded and give it a fair second chance because im guessing you have not seen it since the initial reaction so thats the only memory you of it.

2024-09-01 23:48:06 +0000 UTCI think the biggest "prank" Moffat pulled was turning Bill into a cyberman. by then we were all used to his Deus ex machinas, but this one was so horrible and played so straight that we honestly weren't sure how he would end it, so we were actually relieved when he pulled his usual trick in the end.

And after all, one of the oldest questions is why the Doctor ran away from Gallifrey. The reason changes over time and its never quite satisfactory, but we accept it until it changes again.
