2023-03-03 19:47:30 +0000 UTCI felt bad that they destroyed Peridot’s limb enhancers. I see them as equivalent to accommodations. Yes, because they included weapons, they had no choice but to take them away when they captured her, but they didn’t have to just carelessly dump them. Also, had Steven not freed Peridot, would the Crystal Gems have ever let her out? Even if gems are unaware of the passage of time while bubbled, it seems cruel to just indefinitely put someone in suspended animation.
