The foreshadowing of that scene is one of the many things I didn't notice during my first (or second) time watching Gravity Falls. One of the things I love most about this show is the rewatchability. There are so many small details!

2022-04-08 18:29:22 +0000 UTCI'm pretty sure the talking animal heads are a reference to Evil Dead which is kinda funny not just because it's funny for a kid's show to reference a classic horror movie but because another Disney cartoon Ducktales (the reboot) also referenced it, they actually had the necronomicon (as a vhs) in it and some zombies for a quick gag.
