I can't really think of any TNG episodes or 2 parters that would've been better split into 3. I agree The Chase would've been better as a 2-parter and I personally think Yesterday's Enterprise would've been great as a 2-parter. BOBWs 1, 2 and Family is the closest we get to a real 3-parter in TNG.
