It's so "edited" that it's overwhelming at moments -- and then you realize they're parodying late 90s / 2000s typical action montage (the pinnacle of which I think we had in "Taken 3" in 2014, where Liam Neeson jumps over the fence and editors put 14 cuts there)

If you watch it a 2nd time you'll see an insane number of foreshadowing comments, the set ups you noticed and the playful use of people's names. Example: Sargeant ANGEL of death walking into town on a pale white horse.

2025-03-28 21:28:46 +0000 UTCSaw this one in theaters multiple times just because of how tight the script was - it was a delight to see how well every set-up paid off. Great perfomances too; Pegg and Frost are a fantastic pairing, and the cast has so many great actors in it (Ed Woodward is such a treat!). One of my all-time top ten. I'm so glad you guys had a good time with it too!
