Corporate Development Memo 4/14/2024

Hi everyone,

I'm having an absolutely dreadful weekend meeting with accoutants doing all tax paperwork to ensure it's all good tonight. Thankfully, it's about done and the usual April headache for me is about done. My taxes are very complex with multiple LLCs (and S corp designations) so I have to have pros help me sort things out, etc.

But my mood is always better looking at the poll and doing some creative work on the game and design stuff. This wasn't my absolute best week because of my taxes and I failed to hit a typical goal I want of 100 renders, but I did get pretty close by doing 90 renders!

My current rough total for the update is now 595 renders.

I have mostly been on the sub path and general scenes so far. I will probably be on this side another week or so as I am reuniting the pod guys, and once I get to their set point, I will probably shift back to the dom path afterwards for a good 3-4 weeks I imagine.

The new sub poll vote is of course out, and I am absolutely not shocked to see Olivia/Doctor at the top. They have always been so strong in polls. I am surprised Angelica is a close third. It just shows I can't read the looks of women (or it is how I wrote her?) as well as I think, hehe.

I will release a dom poll vote this week, but I am not sure how to structure it this week, so any ideas welcome! I might just randomly mix up the dom/subs more for the females.

With the polls, I always want to tell the truth about how it impacts the game. As a general rule, the overall entirety of doing all the poll work over the life of an update will typically push back a release about 3-4 weeks from if I had not done any poll work at all. (at least historically) I personally think this is ok from my side as I feel it helps me maintain a little more balance/enjoyment seeing the characters in a non-canon light which helps the game itself have a better pace/quality to it. This is just my gut feel. I especially like seeing characters a bit different from their in game persona (like I'd be curious to reverse role as a random example an evil Claudia with a nicer Celeste), but of course this doesn't happen too often with the voting which is ok too :)

 I should be a bit more back to normal later this week so I will get back in a nice groove I think...I am quite glad to still get 90 renders done this week considering my schedule!

Sorry to cut this one a bit short, but I have to get back to more tax work :(

On the bright side, I've got a great birthday celebbration very soon so looking forward to it!
