100% agree. This is a major episode, symbolically, that most people view as about a transition from childhood to adult hood. You will also notice a different level of maturity from Finn pre and post this episode.

2025-05-21 16:40:04 +0000 UTCMikey, i cannot stress this enough..... when you finish the show you have to go to Youtube and watch several analyses to this episode, this is one of those rare episodes that REALLY leaves you thinking, people have so many interesting interpretations and cool things to say about it (of course... do it when you have time). I especially recommend Uncivilized Elk's analysis videos...... he's by far my favorite Adventure Time Content Creator. I would also leave a lengthy comment about my own interpretation of the episode... but right now im really tired and sleepy xdddd. But to answer your question... Finn and Flame Princess broke up during the second half of Season 5. In the show's timeline that would be approximately 2 years before this episode.... since Finn was 14 years old when that whole fiasco happened... and here he's 16.
