If you'll ever want to go back playing it in a new save, you'll need to remove it.
This mod turns Strangerville into a normal world with normal walby, no infected sims, no military, no conspiracists, no mention of the Mother Plant... just your dear old Nancy and Geoffrey
The mod will work with Walkby Overhaul and other mods keeping sims in their home region.
The mod will start the storyline from the very end (Mother Plant gone) with no mention of it (you'll not even get the pop up) and also replace all the custom walkby situations in world with the regular situations of a residential world.
