Back to pack with April O'Neil

I just sent pack No. 25 with new April O'Neil art to all supporters. In this pack we don't have a magazine, but a pack like in the past. This will give me breathing room to produce magazines again, but from now on the magazines will be quarterly from next year onwards.

The next PlayN-Ups magazine will be number 26 and will be sent to supporters in December this year.

But get ready for extra pack shipments over the last three months because I want to try to compensate everyone for the delays.

I'm developing a schedule for you to follow the dates of upcoming releases.

Check your emails!

Have fun, guys!

P. S.: Correcting information: there is a typo on the cover and in the messages I sent and they indicate that this is the 5th pack of the illustration collection, but ignore that information.

Actually this is pack No. 25, because after Pack 24 (with Uzaki-chan) we started publishing the Playservice magazine.

Now the packs return following the correct sequence.

Sorry for the mistake.

Breaking news!

Hey guys!

We are about to undergo a major renovation here on the page. Yes, another reform and I hope this one has an effect, as the last few years have served to test that the original model I created didn't work out very well.

Admitting it is the best way to solve the problem and move in a truly efficient direction.

First, I'll reassure you: the PlayN-Ups digital magazine is not going away, it will be transformed into a QUARTERLY artbook.

But what about the content? What will supporters receive monthly?

The content will once again be in the form of a pack of illustrations and editable files with some new elements, such as videos of the production process, but every three months everyone will receive the FULL edition of PlayN-Ups magazine with a selection of illustrations that I posted to over six months on Patreon and Instagram. The publication will continue to have 40 pages on average. This edition will be sent to all supporters regardless of category. The Sirius, Aldebaran and Canis Majoris levels will receive the season's PlayN-Ups and, in the month of shipping, there will be no pack. I will make a schedule so you can see how deliveries will be made throughout the year.

The season's PlayN-Ups will bring, in addition to the illustrations that were in other packs, also exclusive content that will not be in any separate pack. I haven't decided what to add yet. I'm considering including the comics with my OCs, or perhaps exclusive character illustrations at the request of readers. I will decide on what is viable.

Producing a monthly magazine should be a not-so-difficult mission to accomplish, but for that I would need at least 10 supporters. If I had that amount, I could dedicate myself exclusively to the magazine. As I needed to produce materials outside of Patreon, a series of delays occurred.

Everything will be adjusted. No month will be left behind. I'm preparing packs to fix the delays. The first will be posted on October 5th (my birthday): the PlayN-Ups Pack with the return of April O'Neil.

We will also have changes to the categories so that I can complete the months more easily. Read the "Tiers" section to understand what the next few months will be like for each supporter level.

And please, I will make a request to the dear supporters who have not abandoned me: share this Patreon with your friends as much as you can. The more supporters, the more material I can produce for you.

Thank you very much for staying here.

Let's move on!

90's Woman of the Decade: Luma de Oliveira

The beautiful Brazilian model Luma de Oliveira who I recently illustrated for a vote on the 50 greatest muses who were on the covers of Brazilian Playboy magazine.

Luma was even voted woman of the decade by Playboy International in the 90s.

The complete illustration will be in the new quarterly version of PlayN-Ups magazine in the form of an artbook.

More os my OCs

I have a LOT of original characters in store. I never found reasons to take them out of the "drawer" where they've been sleeping since the 90's, but I think now is the time for them to be woken up.

Luma de Oliveira

In progress, an art by the Brazilian model Luma de Oliveira, very famous in the 80s and 90s in carnival parades, soap operas and Playboy magazine.

By the way, in Playboy, she was elected Miss Playboy International in the year 1988.

Did you know Luma?

Record of when I started illustrating the beautiful Nessa Amor. It will soon be completed.

In the picture I'm using my Galaxy Tab S6 with the Sketchbook app.

WIP: a new art for Mari

Another art that I'm producing in parallel with several works: a new illustration of dear Maria Klepchenko wearing her unicorn helmet. At the time, she was petting a horse.

She is a very sweet person. If I were the horse I would declare my love to her.

My dear dentist

Here's a new art I made for my friend who takes care of my teeth. Dear Dr. Ursula is the most beautiful dentist on the planet and it was her birthday recently. I made the illustration as a gift for her.

The art will also be in the next issue of PlayN-Ups.

April is coming

The new Playnups will bring a new series of illustrations by April O'Neil as I already told you. I'm really excited to produce these arts. I thought I couldn't do better than the first April pack I produced in 2019.

It's getting beautiful!

Next: the return of April!

I love this character, I don't know if I've already told you this, but I LOVE April O'Neil from the moment I met her in cartoons in the 80's. I was a teenager and obviously had a lot of interest in real women, but something caught my attention in some characters from children's programs such as She-Ra, Cheetara, Starfire and Steelheart.

April was one of those I drew in my math notebook and then ripped the page out so the teacher wouldn't see it and complain to my mom. In a way I wasn't satisfied with my drawing because I drew women very badly and I promised myself that I would become as good as Paolo Serpieri, who was my reference at that time.

Here I am drawing April decades later.

At least now I'll draw her with all the quality she deserves because finally I KNOW HOW TO DRAW WOMEN!

Sorry for the rant

Peach wallpapers

All packs of the Canis Majoris level bring a lot of interesting elements. In addition to separate high-resolution illustration files, editable PSD files, the complete digital magazine and images of the production process, I also provide wallpapers for cell phones and PCs of the cover character.

What is the most beautiful wallpaper so far? Do you have any favorites?

Princess Peach in two styles

Two different styles.

The idea was to choose between the two, but because I was late I ended up using both: a more cartoonish one and a more semi-realistic one.

What style would you like me to produce more? the cartoonish or the semi-realistic?

Summer Soderstrom sketching preview

Needing to move my networks, I decided to post some production processes and I found this one from last week unrelated to PlayN-Ups magazine.

But, on second thought, from NOW on this illustration will already be in the next editions of our magazine because I already got a few likes on YouTube because of it

Four problematic artworks of mine that are often noticed on all social networks. Okay, I still want to understand what it is about these illustrations that cause so much astonishment.

2023 Welcome Pack

There was a Welcome Pack missing for this year. Each year I choose some art from previous years and publish it within the Welcome Pack, which is a digital artbook with a collection of illustrations.

Most of the time they are arts that were on Patreon as packs or in Playservice and PlayN-Ups magazines, but today I found a very old folder of arts that I produced for games that were not approved. They are arts that outside the game have no meaning. They lost the link and the reason for existing. They are aimless.

So I decided to put them in the annual artbook that I always offer free to new supporters and will always be on sale in my Gumroad store for old supporters. If the supporter is at the Canis Majoris level there is a 100% discount that can be used to download the artbook for free.

I started arranging the illustrations today and it will be ready before the release of new PlayN-Ups #25.

Supporters who have recently joined my Patreon will receive the issue as well as those to come.
