Stra-Strangeify - The Beauty and The Beast

Once upon a time, a witch learned a spell form a mirror...
She casted the curse on a young man that had made her angry...
This curse was different form the others... it was not going to wear off, and made the young man disgusting to everyone...
Not even the most powerful mages knew a way to dispel it
He was condemned to a life of loneliness.... but...
There was a way, because the curse could be removed....
By a kiss of True Love...
This is mostly a storytelling mod.
I didn't want to make the original spell permanent, so I made a new one.
This spell can only be learned by a mage of rank 5+ and not the usual way, you can only learn it by looking inside a mirror.
Once casted on someone, the effect will not wear off.
The curse can only be broken by a Kiss of True Love, the Kiss of True Love is available only for soulmates with a romance of 90+ and only the other Sim can start the interaction.
This mod requires BOTH the Spellbook injector and the Xml Injector
Added Missing String Tables and (I think) fixed the icon.

Hi, I know this is an older mod, but I'm also having the issue with the curse going away after changing families :(

2021-04-25 21:03:54 +0000 UTCCould this be a trait, also removed by a kiss of True Love?? I have two witches in different families that are rivals and one of them cursed the other one, but when I switch families the curse is gone :(

2019-11-17 15:47:40 +0000 UTCthe spellbook injector has been updated. the xml injector really only inject the true love kiss interaction in this mod. if the interaction is missing from the mirror, then is the spellbook injector you need to update.

2019-11-14 13:27:30 +0000 UTCIt seems to not have a means of acquiring the spell anymore. I think it is because the xml injector is out of date. The spell still shows up under the potential spells to learn so is there a way you could add a tomb for it so it is usable?

2019-11-13 22:59:40 +0000 UTCIt's a buff, so probably gets removed when the sim is played. I can change it to a trait though to make it more permanent, I didn't just because this way someone can cheat the buff away if they get annoyed by the effect (clicking the buff away removes the curse)

All love! <3 I have a bit of trouble with Stra-strangeify though, for some reason, this curse doesn't last when the cursed Sim leaves the lot. Like, even if I save the game, and switch from the spellcaster to the cursed Sim right away, the Stra-strangeify curse is gone. Anyone else is having this issue or just me?

2019-10-27 23:34:50 +0000 UTCYeah... I forgot to copy the string tables to all language. It's easy to fix but I'll not have time today... You can fix it yourself untill I can officially fix it, by opening the file in sims 4 studio, going to tools - modding tools - copy string tables to all language

This is fantastic.I love your mods and i have learned a lot from you i read all your posts, i merged my cc together and download cool1 quicker autonomy and simulation lag improvement mod and my game is perfect no lagging at all runs faster to.
