This new feature is not documented on the Wiki yes as it is still in early access, if you have questions feel free to use the 3d-canvas-discussion channel on discord!
To access the feature, make a new Tile, in the 3D Tab select Map Generator in the Dynamic Mesh Dropdown, then click the Cog icon that will appear to the right of the Dropdown!
