So glad I'm up to date for this, story keeps on getting better from here! About Caren: I haven't played HA either so don't know more about her than you, but I assumed she meant she's a "canary in a coalmine." Canaries that are intended to pass out from toxic gasses in a coalmine - or huge mana bursts here - to give other people an early warning of the danger.

But Miyu being a complete Grail or as Kid Gil said a Grail with a human personality, maybe means that unlike the Einzbern Grails like Illya, she wouldn't need to transform into a cup to function as a Grail?
