When the butt of every joke - the laughing stock of the "losers" team - becomes the Hero. Twin Turbo is not the hero we (Teio) deserved. She's the hero we (Teio) needed. It also makes all of those tiny little scenes of her punking about challenging Teio this whole season (that are funny, at the time, because we know there's no shot she'll even be in the same race let alone win it) finally pay off here. Gotta love when the dork gets their moment to shine. I also adore that if your watching the end-credits closely. The shot where Twin Turbo is grinning at the camera... you can actually see that Teio is bowing to Twin Turbo - presumably in apology. Cuz after that cold shit Teio said Turbo ended up provin' her wrong. Also, Twin Turbo's speech when she confronts Teio before the dramatic ending is just amazing. You understand where Teio is coming from, emotionally, when she rebukes her with "You think you know ANYTHING about me!?" Yet in reality. She didn't have to race you or be your friend to know that the Teio those fans, friends, and peers look up too is exactly who you are. Tokai Teio does not give up. Teio proved that to EVERYONE when she got up from injury 3 times and came back again, and again, and again. So Turbo does know you Teio - hate to break it to you.
