How to claim your rewards (link in DMs)

Hi guys so I've just finished setting up a better reward delivery method

This fixes a big issue I have with patreon's system which is that it doesn't give me an option to keep my rewards in one place for easy access and posterity like gumroad, and this is specially the case if your subscription expires and you suddenly have no access to the rewards you subbed to

so now what I did is make it so you can keep all your rewards easily accessible in one place even after your subscription expires, you only need an active subscription to claim your reward and after that you own it and it will stay in your library forever

also if for whatever reason you forgot to claim your reward that month or whatever, feel free to message me anytime and I'll send it to ya no prob, you will also be able to have it in your library just like everyone else so it'll stay nice and organized :3

also another cool thing about it, is that if I make more stuff for that month I can add it to your reward pack anytime and it will update automatically on your library which is really cool, this is super handy in case I wanna add bonus content or didn't manage to finish something before the date your subscription expires

you can also download all the contents to your pc from the app and still be able to find them easy through your library without needing to remember what folder you put it in, so you can archive it or organize it in your pc the way you like, this is also useful cause you'll always have access to a copy of your rewards on the cloud in case a hard drive dies

so now people won't be locked out of their rewards once their patreon sub expires, because all the rewards they received during the period they were subbed will stay forever on their library and you can access them anytime

I'll be sending you a link to claim your rewards through DMs as soon as I finish uploading everything on the server

TLDR: recently someone decided to auto-scrape and leak this patreon's content, and it's just kinda sad

thinking that someone decided to pledge just to feed websites that profit off of stealing peoples work

now anything I post here on patreon's feed will automatically be posted on all these sketchy sites, that make money from displaying advertisements on pages with peoples stolen work

(which is sad really, those websites could do like webtoons and offer a way to at least share some of that revenue with the creators, even if just a small fraction, but instead they choose to just rip off their work and jeopardize their main means of subsistence)

I'm not a big company that has infinite funding, patreon is my main and only source of income. that's all I get, and I use it for paying my monthly rent, food and utility bills. so yeah

It's one thing to show a piece to a couple friends, and another thing to give away all or most of an artists work ALL THE TIME to EVERYONE on the internet for free, by doing that you're directly affecting their earnings and possibly keeping them from continuing on, because they need to make money to cover their living expenses somehow.

I'm pretty sure if I sit you down to a table and feed you a banquet, then ask you to buy a sandwich, you're going to decline. Same thing.

imagine you working really hard all month at your job, and then someone decides to take all that work you did and give it all away without paying you for it, how will you cover your rent that month, after they decided all that work you did should be free and you don't need to be paid for it?

Were not rich; in fact the majority of us are only just getting by. So please if you want to support us to continue creating content, help us keep things running instead of assisting sketchy websites to profit off of stolen work

we're really not that many here in this patreon, and I can count each tier's members in the fingers of one hand. I could literally send each individual member a unique painting to identify the source of the leak and ban it, cause frankly I don't wanna be enabling sketchy sites to keep making money off of stealing small artists' work, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth

but I'd much rather spend that time focusing on creating more and better content for you guys instead, so if you can please disable the auto scraping, download the images and share them with your friends if you like, but just don't post them on greedy inconsiderate sites to exploit for ad revenue
