I'll keep that in mind for the future. Sometimes I play around too much to make the page dynamic and ended up confusing! The rich white dude, could have been any color xD a bit tanner would have been better maybe

yeah, I can see that! it's hard to play with the panels sometimes

Aburtov is such an amazing colorist, we've worked together since Marvel Style Guide and he always does a fantastic job! And yes, it's a retcon, and I think it's better in the end

Well, there were a couple of times where I wasn't sure which way the dialogue was going (which panel I was supposed to read first), but other than that, I felt it was okay. I'm kind of getting tired of the "old rich white man is evil/behind it all" trope, but I understand you probably had no control over that.

Her memory was a coping mechanism for traumatic experience

Love the ink work. The anatomy feels real and something inspired by Adam Hughes & Frank Cho in process. Excellent quality.

Love this process. But on page 4 where she reveals the truth about their moms, panels 2 and 3 feel desyncd. Took me a moment to read it up down on left before reading up down on right.

The colours in this book are so damn good it makes everything pop. Alot of America fans don't like the retcon, on the one hand I can see where their coming from but I think the new origin will be better in the long run.

I'm just confused because isn't the Utopian Parallel a place America's actually been to before? I don't know how to feel about her history being framed as a "lie"/"childhood fantasy." Great art though
