An algorithm update
Added 2018-08-14 15:58:47 +0000 UTCThe current plan is to roll-out the new algorithm this weekend. I've tried to launch it last weekend, but ran into some issues with accuracy, so decided to keep the existing one for one more week.
The idea is to use multiple algorithms for different games and different stages in a life cycle. I'll start with two for newly released games and for established titles. The current algorithm kinda overestimates the first week sales and then underestimates the long tail, so having two different algorithms manage that should help in the long run.
