Contrary to popular belief, the Gyat.io playerbase...

... is relatively small, but the game has great retention and interest metrics. I am trying to think of how I can mass market the game, everyone who tries it loves it. But the challenge is how to get more eyes on an NSFW game.

Are chat logs in Gyat.io saved?

No.

Gyat.io does not save chat logs. It just relays the chat from client to client. This is why I can't ban anyone, and players make false reports trying to get others banned as a form of trolling.

How To Play Gyat.io Full Game

Welcome to Gyat.io, a free 3D multiplayer browser-based game where you explore open worlds, collect gems, and engage with other players in a uniquely adult-oriented experience. Here’s everything you need to know to get started:

1. Getting Started

• Launching the Game

  • Open your preferred web browser (with WebGL support) and navigate to Gyat.io.

  • Create or log in to your account to start playing.

• Character Creation

  • Customize your character’s appearance using the default options.

  • As you level up, you will gain Stat Points which allow further customization of your body, species traits, and other attributes.

• Starting Location

  • You begin on Impulse Island (Sex Level 1). Explore the area to familiarize yourself with the controls and basic gameplay.

2. Basic Controls

• Movement

  • 1 to do MALE sex position

  • 2 to do FEMALE sex position

  • 3 to toggle penis on and off (you must be wearing no pants or underwear to do this)

  • W, A, S, D (or arrow keys) to move.

  • Spacebar to jump (jump height can be increased with Stat Points).

  • Y to change your skin color

  • F to change your gender

  • : before your message to do private chat

  • /name to change your name

  • /mute AnnoyerID# to mute annoying players

  • You can click on UI buttons with your right mouse button

3. Leveling and Progression

• Sex Level

  • Your Sex Level represents your in-game progression.

  • Increase your Sex Level by earning XP through various activities.

• XP and Money

  • Collect Gems scattered across the ground for quick XP and money. Rare gems grant larger rewards.

  • Have sex with inanimate objects (benches, trashcans, trees, etc.) or bots to earn additional XP and money.

  • Engage in consensual activities with other players for XP and money.

  • Some bots or interactions require a specific Sex Level or money cost before you can proceed.

• Stat Points

  • Each time you level up, you earn 1 Stat Point.

  • Spend these points to modify your character’s body or traits.

4. Customization

• Appearance

  • Skin Color, Skin Texture, Hair Style, Hair Color, Clothes

    • Unlock more options via leveling up or obtaining items from the Lucky Box.

• Body Modifications

  • Stat Points can be used on various attributes. For example:

    • Men: Height, Head Size, Penis Size, Muscular, Fat, Goblin, Orc, Minotaur, Cat, Dog Head, Wings, etc.

    • Women: Height, Head Size, Breast Size, Butt, Goblin, Orc, Bunny Ears, Trans, Wings, etc.

    • Both: Move Speed, Jump Height, Thin, Fat Belly, Horns, Kitsune Ears, Tail, etc.

  • Some transformations (like “cat,” “dog head,” or “minotaur”) are purely cosmetic or furry fantasy-themed changes to reflect your desired style.

• Unlocking Sex Positions

  • Each new Sex Level grants you access to a new sex position, allowing for more variety in your adult interactions.

• The Lucky Box

  • Spend in-game money to open Lucky Boxes for a chance at exclusive items (clothes, hairstyles, skins, etc.).

5. Exploring the World

• Impulse Island

  • The starting zone, accessible at Sex Level 1.

  • Collect gems, interact with objects, and level up to unlock more areas.

• Nectar Nightclub

  • A special area on Impulse Island.

• City Map

Ultra Realistic Sex Progress: I Found What Causes Human Arousal! [Product Design Dev Log]

Hi Gyationians,

When thinking about how to make the sex in Gyat.io ultra-realistic, I found some things that are extremely interesting. I was thinking: what is the problem with the existing sex in the game, why isn't it as arousing as a professionally shot pornography video? And I came with some very interesting observations:

• Currently, there isn't a good view of the genital area where the sex actually happens. In professional pornography videos, there are many closeups of the penis going in the vagina

  • To-do: Make the starting penis longer, the legs thinner, and the man and the woman further away so there are gaps between the butts and the legs that you can see the genital area through! Thin legs and long penis create gaps to see the sex through!

  • To-do: Improve camera angles, and the way the camera can move, so you can better zoom to view the vaginal area!

  • To-do: Make the penis of the base male character always fit in the vagina of the base female character

• Currently, the animations aren't smooth because they have a low frame rate to try to make the game build size smaller. Build size is important for web browser games because many players leave before even playing if the loading takes too long on the web!

  • To-do: Use custom animations to make thrusting extremely smooth

• Currently, in some animations the player models heads are facing down so you can't see their beautiful faces because you can't move the camera underneath the ground

  • To-do: Make the characters head face forward during the sex animations so you can see them better

Here is my goal for how the in-game sex scenes should look like:

As you can see in the example gif below, you can see the man's penis because it's quite long and both his and the woman's legs are thin creating a gap to see the genital areas through:

In this next gif, you can see the genital movement close-up, I want to replicate this kind of scene in Gyat.io as well. I am doing my best to have the genitals fit perfectly at least for the base sized characters. If the penis is too short as it is currently, it's impossible to have there be gaps or space to see through, the players would be ramming their areas in without any way to see the action:

Sneak Peek: Ultra-Realistic Sex Update!

Hey there, lovely Gyationians! ✨

One of the biggest improvements the Gyat.io needs is making the sex ultra-realistic and jerk-offable, so players feel more aroused while playing. Right now, things look a bit robotic, and the penis doesn’t always fit properly into the vaginas 😅, the thrusting looks weird and unpolished, unlike real life.

It’s going to be tough because characters can vary so much in size and weight, but I’m working on a proof-of-concept for doggy style to get that perfect, extremely realistic jerkable animation.

How to make a game like Gyat.io?

Every day I get messages asking how Gyat.io is made, how people can get started in game development, and how to make a multiplayer game.

Ofc it's not easy to give general advice to everyone, everyone has a different background in programming, different levels of energy and motivation. But let me give you all some thoughts on the matter.

1. Use ChatGPT

ChatGPT can just now make the game for you, help you answer questions, this should be everyone's starting point.

Also I use Copilot in my editor as well.

2. Which Game Engine To Use?

I use Unity because I have lots of experience with it. When I was first getting started it was the easiest to learn. There's more examples for Unity than any other engine by far because of their Asset Store, sometimes you have to pay for the examples but that's much easier than figuring things out yourself. The goal is to get things done not to struggle.

3. You really want to do it, every day think about it, but just can't sit down and get started?

Work with a team and hold each other accountable. This was a game changer for me when I had these issues.

4.  How to make a multiplayer game?

If it's your first game don't try to do multiplayer right off the bat. Make a single player game, it's easy to change any single player game to multiplayer game anytime when you got the basics down.

Sneak Preview: Consent Feature

Good news Gyationians,

I really do listen to every single request from supporters and try to implement it.

Consent: a very highly requested feature. E.g. Would you like to have sex with me Yes/No feature. 

This one was really hard to do because there are so many edge-cases and code/game scenarios that make it a challenging feature to implement, more than 50 hours of fixing bugs related to it. But I finally got it into a working state.

It should be coming to the game next week or so, and will be a Patreon-supporter only feature in the game. Hopefully this will drive more supporter sales so we can add our next initiative: over 3000 custom clothes you can wear.

There will be 3 options:

• Allow - always allow sex from everyone

• Deny - deny sex from everyone

• Request Consent - popup asking Allow or Deny

Update: Vacuum Cleaner + Lucky Wheel

Hi everyone, I added 2 new things into the game, a vacuum cleaner character for the 20$ subscription tier and a "lucky wheel" where you can spend your money on spins, it has a chance of giving you a stat point!

I will try to add a clothes/collectible items system so you can have a chance of winning one from the lucky wheel.

How Is Gyat.io Made 🥺👉👈? Software Design & System Architecture of Gyat.io!

I thought this would be an interesting post for supporters because so many of you are technical professionals 🥺👉👈! I debated if I should share this information for security reasons, but it's so interesting that I couldn't not not not!

Gyat.io — and multiplayer games in general have a client and a server.

The client in Gyat.io is made with Unity (WebGL) and written in C#, and the server is made in .NET and written in C#.

The server used to be made in Node.js but then I rewrote it in C# so some of the code could be shared and not have to rewrite it twice!

The client sends messages to the server, and vice versa, using a technology called WebSockets! Messages are serialized and de-serialized in order to be smaller and faster when sent using a protocol called MessagePack which is like JSON but smaller and faster.

The server we host the game on runs Debian Linux and the static client files are delivered using a server software called nginx. The server provider we use is called Vultr.

How come nobody else ever made a game like Gyat.io before?

One interesting thing that I noticed about the adult games industry is that there’s absolutely no other game like Gyat.io.

I’ve done hundreds of hours of “market research” on adult games, and I think I’ve played every single multiplayer sex game that’s out, at least in the English world. As well as many many single player adult games.

Most successfully adult games are either steam, are visual novels or gatcha games.

There are some high quality multiplayer sex simulator games but their websites look sketchy and like they are from the early 2000’s. The screenshots look almost fake and you have to pay before you play.

“Gatcha” Games

There’s also adult gatcha games, which certainly are very profitable, gatcha games in general are based on three things:

• Gambling

• Story

• Collectibles

What’s the biggest sfw Gatcha game in the world? Genshin Impact. Most of the adult gatcha games are 2D, and are on the website Nutaku.

But how come nobody has made a game like Gyat.io before?

I just think that it’s just really hard to make a multiplayer game for most developers, especially in the browser. On top of that a certain percentage of developers don’t want to work on a game like this because they have some shame about it. And also you need a lot of custom art which also needs to be heavily optimized. It’s not like you can buy some premade assets for this, the ones for sale typically have too big of a file size for a browser game.

Reasons Gyat.io Is Unique

Gyat.io has some unique advantages, hopefully it will benefit us:

• It’s free to play, which is more ethical than trying to get sales with great looking screenshots and videos that make the game look better than it really does

• You don’t need to download it, so more people will try it because there’s no risk of it having any virus bundled

Concept Art: Future Game Plans

Hi everyone, I know I just released the island update recently, but I was testing another island environment that just looked so beautiful I had to share it. Maybe I can take some of the elements out of this island map and put it on the existing island? To me it just looks so nice, I wanted to share it and get everyone's opinion on it.

A big issue is that when compiling and compressing the game for the web, the graphics don't look as good because if I put the non-compressed version up it would take too long to load for new players. And my data shows a high percentage of brand new players will leave instead of waiting for the game to load.

 Thanks again for all your support. I am working so many different things like new clothes, and trying to be super open minded for features and to think outside the box to achieve the goal of Gyat.io to become the biggest sex MMORPG in the world.

I worked really hard on making the previous city map make sense and fun, the island has a long way to go since it's so large what we have now is just a start, and I will improve it a lot in the next couple of days and weeks. If you can test it and give feedback on what specifically needs to be improved, like what bots to put in what locations and whatnot, this is the help I need most.

NO SEX ALLOWED!

We are will be testing out a new "no sex allowed" area in the game in the next couple of days. The idea behind this is that new players, when they join the game, will spawn in this area that way existing players can't run up to them the second they join and have sex with them. The way the game is now might confuse some new players and with this "no sex allowed" zone they will just have to take a few steps out of the red zone to have sex.

Sneak Preview: Future Maps

Hi everyone, right now the game is set in a city square with lots of buses, but I am planning to do a big and really amazing rework of the map in the game.

Here is the idea:

1.) The game will be set on an island and everyone will start off on the beach

2.) There will be a nightclub on the center of the island but you can't go inside until you are level 10.

3.) On the night club certain floors will be locked to players of a certain level or Patreon subscribers only.

Hi everyone, I released the game on itch.io today and it's had over 640 plays on itch so far! I released lots of other games on itch before but none of them had as many players as this one all the sudden. Hard to believe, but I'm really happy! Maybe it's because the adult genre has less competition. Maybe because our promo pics were compelling? Probably a bit of both!! Thanks everyone who was on the game today it was really fun to see everyone in multiplayer in real time!
