Aside from Ricochet. Which of these would be a good break for a friend with a newborn to take a couple hours off.

Shoot To Kill is a movie that loomed large for me as a 9-year-old who paid attention to which movies were playing in theaters in 1988, but I haven't heard it talked about since then.

Ricochet and Virtuosity on the same par-mediocrity, ZARDOZ (looks great on silv-screen); is an OG VHS discovery for me, seed tht helped spark my good-bad/movie interests. TLGF, TRook, wil be great to hear ABz run thru!

Couldn't agree more! I watched it so many times on an old VHS tape when I was a kid, and when I re-watched it 5 or 10 years ago, it really held up well! It was almost better than I remembered, which usually never happens.

I watched Shoot to kill after Sidney Poitier died in 2022. The movie did some filming in Vancouver BC, I loved seeing late 80's Van city.

Zardoz is actually a really good movie, if you can get past the codpiece.
Which is no small feat, last time I accomplished it with copious amounts of alcohol and I had a good time with the film.
Now I am debating if I want to re-watch it. I probably will.

Yes!!! "Ricochet" has been #1 on my Action Boyz wishlist for a few years now- I can't wait. Now that "Ricochet" is being crossed off my list that moves "Shoot To Kill" with Tom Berenger and Sidney Poitier up to the top spot.

The Long Good Friday opens up the possibilities for costumes for a London live show. Before it was mostly a spotless Bond suit, now it’s a slightly shabbier suit

Ricochet: Max
The Long Good Friday: Max/Criterion Channel
The Rookie: Rental only
I love Zardoz, own the Twilight Time limited edition Blu-Ray and just saw it in the theater about a month ago. Such a singularly weird movie; Boorman has a lot to say about...everything, and I don't know that even half of it works, but you've got to applaud the man for trying.

Long Good Friday has the greatest character entrance ever in cinema.
