Hey everyone—Jake here!
One of Peter’s resolutions for the new year was to read more books, so we thought it’d be fun to turn that into a community experience for the Critical Error nation!
Consider this the very first 📚 Critical Error Book Club 📚
I’ve selected our first book, and we’ll be recording a future bonus episode discussing it at a TBD date—I want to make sure everyone has plenty of time to grab a copy and read along. When the episode nears, we’d love to hear from you: submissions, thoughts, favorite parts, confusions, questions, etc.
So, here is our first pick: Heating & Cooling by Beth Ann Fennelly

Here’s the publisher description:
The 52 micro-memoirs in genre-defying Heating & Cooling offer bright glimpses into a richly lived life, combining the compression of poetry with the truth-telling of nonfiction into one heartfelt, celebratory book. Alternatingly wistful and wry, ranging from childhood recollections to quirky cultural observations, these micro-memoirs build on one another to shape a life from unexpectedly illuminating moments.
We’ll share more details soon about timing and how to submit your thoughts—but for now, let's get reading!
Until again,
Jake
