It doesn't get much closer than that. But it was inevitable what would happen to the loser this time, and Marie finally gets to return the favor for Toph stealing her footsie tactic in the past. The Footsie Queen is back in charge, and here to stay. Clammy!
Maybe next season it'll be third time lucky for Toph, but the #8 seed is out, and the #25 seed goes through to the Round of 16 to face Mavis, another barefoot beauty!
