Weekly Update 6-10-2025

My apologies for being late with this journal entry; I’m writing this on the lunchtime of 6th October 2025.

The past week has been a very… turbulent one for me, given it was the end of/beginning of the month, when my ennui really gets to me (exacerbated by what’s going on in the world, domestically and internationally, but let’s not endanger my account by being too specific about it—if you know, you know). 

I guess I did make the right call in easing off the accelerator pedal on here this month…

I have no image declaring as such, but the archive keys have been dispensed.  I was pretty nervous about doing it this time, because my notifications are acting a bit doolally.  Like, I would receive notice of a new producer appearing but then I’m unable to find them in the Audience tab listings…  weird.

I usually send out the keys to active audience-members, so I’m hoping that they made their way to every, so if you appeared briefly and then unsubscribed shortly afterwards, you may have been missed, I’m not sure… please send word.  DM or drop a line in the chat or what-have-you.

That said, last week wasn’t a complete ‘nothingburger’ (outside of what I posted here on Patreon, that is)… as illustrated below:

There won’t be a Patrons’ Choice/VIPinnup poll this month since it’s a sabbatical.  Without the added pressure of producing those, in addition to regular weekly images, and at the moment, I’m going through my physical book collection to get a better idea of how to depict to what I want.

It is one thing to have the idea written down, quite another trying to physically reflect what’s going on in your head in a way that others can comprehend.   Please bear with me during this period of time.

The only other things of note are these:

A reminder of what will happen in November.  This is inapplicable to me as a Content Creator based outside the US, but at least there’s the option over there…

They’re still trying to make everyone go on subscription-style billing…  I know that anyone who joins a Patreon account since November last year is automatically on the new billing system; I’m one of the hold-outs still on the old system for reasons I explained August 2024 here: www.patreon.com/posts/sign-of-times-110335165

And that’s about it for the moment.  I had a bit of a scare when my Photoshop bugged out recently but the issue’s been resolved.  Phew.
