Weekly Update 29-9-2025

Final week of the month, so here’s what I’ve produced over the past week.

As for next month…

My plan, which I realise I didn’t really detail until now (writing this the evening of Sunday 28th September) is to use October to work on content that takes me far longer than my self-imposed weekly deadlines would allow.

That means more comic pages for one because I’m really not satisfied with how slow my progress is.    All three stories are at a research-heavy, labour-intensive stage where it’s taking me nearly 3 days to do a single page (used to take me two). 

Coupled together with the usual content I produce here, it’s getting a bit much where it’s messing up my sleeping pattern.  Time spent on comics means less time on other stuff. Not really good for long-term health prospects, y’know?  I usually take a month off to work on commissions, but fortunately, your financial support has meant that this is no longer as necessary as it once was…  which is great because I’m tired, man.

That’s not to say I won’t be providing extra bonus images… there are a couple of things I wanted to produce this month but simply ran out of time for (without rushing out a “something” that isn’t my best).

So please bear with me.  But again, it’s totally understandable if you want to say sayonara until regular service resumes.  Don’t apologise, not explain, I’ll accept it.  We all have to watch where our money goes, and what I’m doing is a luxury after all, not a necessity.
