Weekly Update 15-9-2025

I am writing this on a wild, windy, rainy Sunday to ensure this post goes up on time… and I’m pretty exhausted (correct as of writing).  But first things first; what this post is all about:

Infurlation Redux is coming but its taking me a while to put together… getting that sense of scale, isn’t easy to composite.  I’ve already made a start on Part 44 of Battlefield Foxglove, ala so:

With how late last month’s Patron Choice images were, I wanted to make sure that I got this month’s ones done in a timely fashion.  Poking Around Pt 193 got de-prioritised, but is definitely underway, as indicated by this finished panel:

Dah-nuh, dah-nuh, dah-nuh.  I did a lot here.  I haven’t figured out the second image for Mudeen and Asadab yet but I’ll endeavour to get it done before the turn of the month.

On the subject of October, I think it’s for the best I take a break.   

Maybe it’s not very wise, given my oft-said nervous intuition about November 2025…

However, I can definitely feel myself wearing down; I haven’t even thought of what to do for next month’s poll (which I usually like to do by the middle of the month, so there’s time for me to determine who I’m drawing by the new month’s first week).

However, as I stipulated at the beginning of the month and at the very tail end of August in its own post, I don’t think I’ll do the pausing-charges thing anymore. 

Instead, I shall leave it to you, the Patron whether you want to dip out during my times of inactivity and then return once I do. 

Naturally, I will forewarn people and make it very clear that October will be an inactive month, so no one feels like they’ve been duped or anything.

I need to learn to listen to others…

(And not ruminate so much; I seem to have developed a sense of dread every time I see an email notification pop up on my phone...).

That’s about it for now.  As always, thank you so much for keeping me financially afloat, and giving me reason to keep active (especially given what went on in the real world last week on multiple fronts).  I’m planning to see that big animated movie that came out on Friday to distract myself; we know the one, right?
