The August Canvass (Silverbeck Buff Tier)

So, akin to what I said to those on the Goldios Sponsos Tier, it is somewhat poetic that my first poll under this new current Tier system is going to be the last one of its sort… kinda.

For context, earlier in the year, I was a bit of a crisis of conscience regarding a certain game and I held a poll about it at the time: https://www.patreon.com/posts/129264270

The results from that time: https://www.patreon.com/posts/129894787 were interesting, but during the interim, another game from that particular genre appeared.  And so with, so did the contentious issues that I go into here:  https://www.patreon.com/posts/129274546 and my final decision.

So here we are…

One can argue semantics, or about artstyle/illustrator choices or cultural values as much as they want, but I’m operating on what the average person would think.

Ergo:

“If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck…” 

And given how things are on this platform, and well, the wider internet (especially if you’re in the UK and Australia at the minute: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/internet-safety -- sorry it's not the BBC, they started geo-blocking recently) I’m totally erring on the side of caution.

So this poll will be the last one in which I focus on games of that sort.  Not judging, I’m just trying not to tempt here.  If you choose to partake in those games, your choice…  which leads me onto the choices I’ve made for this month, here:

Rather than recycle the leftovers from the previous poll, I’ve come up with some fresh faces.  But only one can win and you have to choose.

As I’ve done so before in the past, the winner will get two pieces.  If there’s a tie, I’ll use a wheel-spin thingy to determine who has won outright and will document as such so you can see I’m not playing favourites or anything.  I don’t have a horse in this competition anyway.

Regardless, thank you so much to everyone for participating and allowing me to do these things.  Sorry for all that preamble but at least you know now.  And it’s not like I’m never drawing from the particular source again, I just don’t want to do them for polls anymore because it’s getting too difficult figuring out who’s viable, y’know?
