Sundance Diary Days 4 and 5: Presence, A Different Man, plus lessons learned
Added 2024-01-23 08:27:09 +0000 UTCHey Patrons,
I'm back from the Sundance film festival! In this audio diary I discuss:
- Lessons learned from Sundance (practical)
- Lessons learned from Sundance (philosophical)
- Steven Soderbergh's Presence
- Jesse Eisenberg's A Real Pain
- A Different Man
- Krazy House
Be sure to subscribe to my free newsletter, Decoding Everything, for more of my thoughts on Sundance.
This will be my final Sundance audio update unless y'all want another diary after I finish going through the online portion of Sundance this week. (If so, lemme know in the comments!).
Thanks for your support, which makes my work possible!

FWIW, I really appreciate these audio diaries, where we get to hear your relatively unfiltered thoughts and reflections, which then get fine-tuned or expanded in your writings at Decoding Everything. Especially given how physically tiring the Sundance experience has been, the fact that youโve made time for these audio diaries makes me appreciate the effort and content all the more. Thank you!
