Update 32

- added following item textures:
brick, nether brick, netherite scrap, nether star, blaze rod, coal, lead, leather, spawn egg, paper, sugar cane, cookie, pork, cooked pork, beef, cooked beef, chicken, cooked chicken, mutton, cooked mutton (2)
- added placeholder armor item icons via custom item model (2)
- added POM to various doors/trapdoors so they have some thickness (1)
- added random height variation to sunflower via custom model/blockstate (1)
- changed polished granite/andesite/diorite texture (1)

*(1)=basic (2)=items

More item textures will be added in the future, and maybe mob/entity textures following that.

Was too annoyed from thinking of a good way to make item texture for the armors, so I just made some tiny armor models for them as placeholder. May or may not change in the future.

Changed the texture test map, moved all the item and armor display over to north west side so the main area is less laggy from them

You can download the pack here (works with any 1.15/1.16 versions):

https://www.patreon.com/posts/update-36-53193316

Click on the files inside the folders individually to download them

The "basic" pack need to be loaded at the bottom (just above default pack), and the optional packs can be loaded on top in any order.

The texture resolution for "basic", "addon", and "bonus" pack need to match each other for pathtracing to work properly, but you can use whatever res you like for the "items" and "models" pack.

The extra grass in the "models" pack works best with SEUS PTGI HRR and "Smooth Lighting" option disabled.

Please check the included "features list" text file inside each optional pack to see detail descriptions of what they add, or how to remove unwanted features in the "models" pack.

!! Don't try the 256x versions unless you have plenty of RAM/VRAM !!

Make sure these settings are set correctly, or else the textures will get messed up:

Optionally could download the block properties file included in the download link and use it to overwrite the same file inside SEUS PTGI shaderpack.
The file adds several fixes, and makes ore crystals glow if you enable "glowing redstone block" or makes the bonus pack scifi panels glow if you enable "glowing emerald block" in the shader options.

That's just how minecraft armor texture layout works, can't really change it. The reason that they look correct in the itemframes is because I made custom item models for it, which isn't doable for the actual worn armor atm.

patrix

I notice that some textures like boots and some armor (netherite) show up with the out armor (like the bones), but not the under armor texture. So for me netherite looks like metal arms with only bones, and my character skin under bones. That isn't right is it?

Dullahan Gaming

How does one run shaders and sodium?

Dullahan Gaming

Also is there a way to get the message "wrong settings bruh" on grass blocks removed? I can't use the settings because I'm not using optifine I am using sodium fabric and its really annoying

Asriel Dreemurr

I have a Radeon VII, 64 GB of RAM and I get 200+ fps on minecraft with the x256 version and shaders but I think that's mostly because I am using a modified version of sodium

Asriel Dreemurr

Do you think you will ever add 3D ish textures to wood and cobblestone and all of those types of blocks?

Miller

if Karkat_XVC failes to load 256x with rtx3070 and 32GB RAM what is the minimum rig you need for those? :O what about 512x?

Toma Kulaksazov

still failed

Karkat_XVC

i have an rtx 3070 and 32 gb of 4200 ram

Karkat_XVC

the dev said you needed something near 46, dont remember too much

M5X11

great job man! definitely dont regret my subscription :)

6ix9ine

i try use 256x but fail i have vega 64 and 16 gb ram

ibadgrammar

As of now, only the 64x is working for me. I have 16 GB RAM, a RTX 2070 and a i7-9700F. I tried the 128x, but my Minecraft suffers with a few frames per second of pain with just the sky, and black blocks around me. I am using the SEUS Renewed Shader, but is the SEUS PTGI necessary? Will it increase the performance, and make it playable, or do I simply need more RAM?

Didlex

Answered my own question. For those in the same position, you have to go to SUES patreon and get his $10 PTGI experimental access

Justen hart

Im not sure where you are likely to see this i have everything up and going perfectly except for the Block.properties . when i check in the zip for the shader ( SUES Renewal 1.16 ) there are only shader.properties in most folders. i tried just dropping the file in main folder ( no sub folders ) it has no effect. with and without, redstone looks terrible and broken. i noticed you refer to SUES PTGI but i cant find that at all. i downloaded the previous version and checked those folders and still only shader.properties. Any advise?

Justen hart

you should make textures for the animals! And maybe custom models too for realistic proportions!

SloxNivi

Hallo, I play Valhesia 3 3.2.0. Optifine, ResourcePack and Shader are installed. The world starts and the graphics are really WOW, but when I press the ESC key I don't see anything and the lower item bar is not visible. Both elements are probably there, because if I click on luck they react, you just can't see each other. Is anyone able to help me? greetings Matthias

Matthias Patz

"dont try x256 unless you have plenty of ram/vram" *me watching my page file hit 60gb* so thats what they meant

Milkev Gaming

Good afternoon, recently purchased a subscription and was very happy with this, very beautiful textures of fantastic quality that together with shaders immerse in a fictional, but at the same time very real world, very much liked the sand textures of the souls of the lower world, like dirt with water in the game aaa project, it's a pity that they can only be found in the lower world, for my average computer build is not very heavy textures for which special respect, continue to work on this project and in the future you will become the best of the best

Алексей Долгий

BSl looks great with lower end pcs or any of the sues shaders specifically ptgi e12 but that takes a beafy computer.

Shark

Which shader should i use which works good with the texture pack ?

Ruben Riecke

Thanks! You might be able to find/request some mod-support textures from this guy: https://www.patreon.com/TexturManufaktur

patrix

I am vastly enjoying these textures, thanks so much for the hard work! I read in a prior post that flowers aren't your favorite, but I was wondering if you would ever considering including the sakura trees, magical trees or even the glowing flowers from botania? It would be amazing to have a twinkling mystical forest area or a sakura forest with a japanese house hidden inside. Just my selfish request, but even if not, I still think your work is great and thanks again! ^__^

Drea

how do i fix my issues i got the texturepack on and i even have seus shaders but everything looks like a bad resolution and nothing is 3d or even looks good

TSM_Ziggy

Where to download version 1.12.2

zkonikishi

Well first of all if your using the 256x resolution that's not gonna work because you need a very powerful pc with minimum 32gb of ram, also I wouldn't allocate more than 8 gb of ram to Minecraft and also this resource pack with the 128x res version runs fine on 16gb with 6 allocated, which is what I recommend to set 6gb to Minecraft and have more for background processes.

Shark

Loryak

It really depends on all of your system spec combined not just memory.

Shark

I have 32 gb of RAM but when i try to load the resource pack (256) it fails Resource pack failed to load its says

Crazy Gamer

It might be RAM overload. I had the same issue... I just upgraded from 16Gb to 32 Gb RAM and it works fine now with the x256

Maxim Perry

anyone help me i keep getting resource reload failed. i have an RX 6800XT Merc 319 and an ryzen9 3900, my files are correct IE Models at the top and basic at the bottom x256

Tyler Johnson

need some help setting up mod if anyone could help me out today would appreciate it thanks

BlazeNMG

i just joined patereon also new to minecraft where do i find download files?

BlazeNMG

Well for the order of the packs from top to bottom i would recommend models-items-bonus-addon-basic but this could be different and for you. also i cant really help you with performance and stuff because I don't know what shader you use but if you use BSL here are my settings https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/11Dg3P7-aWam1chdteoQdCryIDCgOQXfS - You may have to adjust advanced materials config for depth and POM resolution.

Shark

can anyone send me settings and order of texture packs and what shaders settings and shaders to use i got a 2080 and a 3600 but my game is buggy and the depth of items just wont work

Anthony Palleschi

for you prolly 1080p , if you upgraded your ram to 32gb maybe 1440p , this texture pack is a lot harder to run than others.

Shark

I'm playing on an EVGA 2080ti FTW3, 16GB RAM, and an i7-6700k. What would be the best resolution to play at normally?

SpeeedyIan

Same "resource pack" folder as the others. Just remember to keep "Basics" first at the bottom of the list.

Benjamin Blais

That's about par for the course

Beanie

where I have to put the extra custom models file?

Alessandro Russo

I'm playing on a Ryzen 9 3950x, 64GB DDR4@3200, 2TB NVME SSD & RTX 3090 - yet i still get the game to max. 30fps when playing with 256x and SEUS PTGI, from what i've read this should be pretty normal, right? I'm just worried my PC has a bottleneck somewhere. I know, kinda noobish question, but i've been out of this whole PC thing the past 8-9 years (Mac guy xD).

Michael Frank

You have to go into your shaders folder and replace the old block.properties in there with the new one.

Shark

Does anyone know where to put block properties i put it in ptgi folder but soen't work. Can somenona tell me how to set block properties

Dacha

Yes, whats the issue?

Shark

you are using a lower resolution version, to get it to like the the pictures you have to use the 256x res version but that resolution is very hard to run.

Shark

This is why I doubt you actually know what you're talking about in terms of minecraft modding. Do you actually know how optifine ctm textures work? Do you know how SEUS PTGI handles texture? Because if so you wouldn't be making these suggestions. And again, you're missing the entire point of my pack which is literally written in the description of this patreon page, one of the goal of the pack is to use several repeat/random textures to mitigate texture repetitiveness, so if you're so triggered by the performance and overuse of texture, you're free to go use other packs

patrix

i have a problem. Whenever i use the pack, the textures arent as clean as the snapshots, and they arent textured as well. can someone help?

MrChickenNugg

Hey there! hello! i have an issue? can u help me? p/d: i love the job u done.

Ernesto Aparicio

Also, I took a look at your textures, you have several redundant layers, sir. You could pair them down quite a bit, get a sharper image with better performance. Also, there are textures that you can use lower resolution for and still look natural so that you can allocate more of the atlas to making the core textures look better like dirt, grass and so on. Just a helpful tip, then you'd be able to have your 256x not run like ass and look just as good. See, I can still be civil despite you not being able to.

Derek Moore

Bruh as an allegedly "modder and dev" you sure make lots of newbie mistakes, like not following instructions and manage to do the exact opposite of what I wrote, not reading discord channel descriptions, not checking who made the replies and mixing up everyone, not expecting minecraft modding to be an unoptimized mess, not reading the warning I put in every update post, not reading the description/goal of my pack or using the free versions as a test before paying, getting triggered so easily by some mere emojis I used to criticize your inability to read and then claim I can't take criticism. I'm sorry you paid one whole dollar for my pack and service, I can refund you so you can go use other packs.

patrix

I did check the readme, it didn't work whatsoever. The thing is when I posted in the help chat asking if anyone had a solution, instead of asking "Did you check the readme?" or give any solution, your admin asked "What resolution are you using?" I answer with 256x and then instead of giving any helpful discourse, he just responds with a laugh comment then ridiculed me. Then you came in and also ridiculed your patron, the guy who paid for access to your texture pack. I did try your 128x, it doesn't look good at that resolution, it becomes grainy which defeats the purpose of the realistic texture pack. I was never rude to you when asking for a solution but you acted exasperated that I would even deign to suggest that there might be something wrong with a texture pack of yours. So here's some advice from a ex-modder and current game developer, get over yourself and learn to take criticism, not that I was even criticizing you, I was just asking if anyone had a solution to the problem. Also your argument that your texture pack is just too great for my computer, I have a 10700k and 2080ti and I can run other texture packs that were 256x and 512x with every item and texture in the game replaced (I know, I curated the texture pack myself by picking and choosing what I liked from each texture pack into my own custom pack) and they worked fine. I wanted to give yours a try and it leaves much to be desired. But my biggest problem isn't the pack, it's your attitude. You had no reason to be rude yet you did it anyhow completely unprovoked.

Derek Moore

Dude, you don't even try to check readme and then just blowing cause of your own faults. This recourcepack has more than 9000 unique texutres for each block, and 256x version needs like 40+gb of ram and 12+ gb of Vram. But hey, you soo good and already know how things doing so you don't even need to read the manual :^) I think you don't even try 128- or 64x versions just to see how much problems it can been solve. And even 1024x texturepack do not have the same texture atlases size like this one, because they have only one texture per block, when here they can use 16, 32 and even more textures per one block for creating a unique, seamless visual of whole game

I Feel Heal U

By the way, for anyone thinking about supporting this patron, don't. His texture pack is horribly optimized and flawed for one. Second, when his pack was throwing openGL errors left and right and I go to the help channel in their discord, both Patrix and the admin were rude and unhelpful, as if asking if anyone had a solution to the opengl error problem was a personal insult. Instead of giving any helpful information, they just said that I'm lazy and didn't read the help info (which I did and none of their suggestions changed anything). His pompousness to act like his texture pack is the top of the line and that the reason I'm having issues is my rig (again, it's not, I have a 10700k and a 2080ti and can run other POM packs with more than double the resolution as just as much complete textures overhauled). Don't bother getting this texture pack because tbh, the texture quality is garbage too. You'd be better off spending money supporting Stylized Texture pack or something, much nicer look, much nicer performance and much nicer staff.

Derek Moore

just download the files separately by clicking on the name and not the check mark

Shark

is there any chance to download the texturepack without mediafire? i dont want to buy the premium account for mediafire :c

Denny Marquardt

You can remove those new 3d armor icons by deleting the armor json files inside "assets\minecraft\models\item" in the items pack

I was in the patrix discord server but I came out by accident and now I don't know how to find the option to join again please help

Dacha

Hey Ollie, you can get SUES PTGI for free. After you enter your payment info for the patreon, you are not charged right away and you can cancel after you download the shader.

Chris

I have SUES renewed and BSL. I don't want to pay 10 dollars for a alpha version of SUES PTGI (though I will get it in full release) and I was wondering is SUES-renewed would work better or BSL. Also for either of those should I do the SUES PTGI only settings? Thank you so much whoever answers.

ollie

Look at the Task Manager and look wich gpu you are using... mincraft has the tendency to use the onboard gpu (try optifine ...i think you already do that).I have an i5 4460/ 16gb DDR 3 and an gtx1070 and it works perfectly fine.

LeuAlex Sound

Im also not able to handle the 256x Version of the Pack. Im having 32 Gigabyte of RAM, a RTX 3070 and an I9 9900KF. But the game runs poorly on 10 FPS. Im also getting a Open GL 1281 Error when using this pack in combination with SEUS PTGI HRR 2.1. A Friend of mine, he is using an Ryzen 9 with a RTX 3070 but has 64 Gigabyte RAM, has no issues of running the pack in the 256x Version. Are the problems caused by the RAM? Cause there aren't any explicit system requirements. I also forgot to mension, that Im using a WQHD Screen.

Amatznue Solpinnio

I'm not sure if my pc meets the requirements for the 256 I thought it could, do to it doing well on the 128, but I have 32gb of ram a 3070 and 5600x. I think I saw somebody with a similar question but it was unanswered. I'm only asking due to stutters on 256 not frame drops it just stutters. It feels buggy between load ups and inconsistent frames. Like if i join the same realm, same position I could have a 50 frame difference either 90 or 40 even though nothing changed. both would constant the 90 or the 40.

Kyle is a god

Very nice update tho i do not like the "placeholder" armor textures. Good job overall :)

Benjamin Blais

I cant find comments about so... Are textures for mobs planned for the future?

LeuAlex Sound

Ace stuff - turns my PC into a portable heater, wonderful!

Joe Wright

Hello, His work is all around SEUS. You can use another one but won't have the same results

Seth's Games

do i have to use SEUS PTGI shader or no

Quinten Lops

Love that andesite texture! Also the 3d armor in frames looks amazing!

Shark

Yes it only updates the files in mediafire not the files already in your packs folder.

Shark

Do I have to re-download the pack each time you update it?

Jacob St-Arnaud

Neat, as always, great work!

Javier Olcoz

I love you
