100% agree! I think that some of the shows people are suggesting are shows with some queer content but the queer storylines aren't the point and I don't know if they quite fit what ASWT does. But A League of Their Own is not a baseball show with some queer content, it is a lesbian show with some baseball content. And in addition to being really good, it would be nice to see a reaction to a female-centered show. Also seconding Pose, both because it's great and because it also has a different perspective from most of the content we see reactions to.

It's a short, sweet, summery film about a same-sex relationship in a Japanese high school. Looking- I loved this show, partially because It was filmed where I live, but also thought it was a beautiful portrayal of queer culture in San Francisco, no coming out stories or question of sexuality. For movies, I’d love to see you react to Handsome Devil (it stars the actor who plays Prince Henry). For tv shows, I’d love to see a reaction to Eyewitness, the American version. While it’s m/m relationship is not without its problems, I love that the story isn’t about two gay boys dealing with coming out and finding love, but rather that they witnessed a murder and all the fallout from that.

I realize this is older but the American version of Queer As Folk is really great. It is available on Amazon Prime but you have to pay for it. There are 5 seasons of the show and I believe the first and second season have around 22 episodes each. It was one of the first shows I watched, along with The L Word when I first came out (late bloomer here), and it did give me some insight into the way of our community. I would love to re-watch this!

I would LOVE for you to react to the "Interview with the Vampire" TV series from 2022 (not the 90s movie haha.) It's VERY explicitly queer, rich with beautiful cinematography, and masterfully intersects themes about race and sexuality from early 1900s New Orleans, and what that means when you start to lose your humanity as well. Also it's just a SUPER fun watch, and had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I think you guys would have a lot of fun with it!

Good Omens. It's difficult to talk about it without spoiling it but it's a beautiful little fantasy show about an angel (Michael Sheen) and a demon (David Tennant), with the queer rep kind of unfolding over time. Only 12 episodes over two series - it's very charming and closer to the vein of Our Flag Means Death :)

Queer as Folk (US) would be great. My favourite series although I would suggest watching the DVD versions as it has the original soundtrack unlike the streaming versions where it was replaced. Just not the same. I mentioned this in a comment above but If you do end up reacting to it then I can provide you copies if needed but I have also been spending some time syncing up the audio from my DVDs to the 1080p Streaming Versions for my own personal use if you would prefer those. It stars Olivia Colman as the mum, and is hilarious (if slightly stereotypical) and for me it’s like they took the best parts of my childhood and stuck it on the TV.
