If mayonnaise is an instrument than is every condiment an instrument or are there some that you wouldn't classify as such
2023-10-26 09:37:16 +0000 UTCSo I was listening to Mariah Carey's "Always Be My Baby" and and there times where it takes me back to that particular sence in Beau is Afraid , does that song bring you back to that as well?

2023-10-23 14:48:16 +0000 UTCAs time goes on, some albums that you've already reviewed will retroactively become 10s for reasons we can only imagine right now. We can only predict what aspects of these albums will age that tremendously well until they create a historical reputation for the music industry that's bigger than we could've anticipated upon release. We will look back on some albums and be surprised by their legacy much later down the line.

2023-10-20 07:35:08 +0000 UTCRock fell out of the mainstream because the major labels hitched their wagons to the wrong horse. They spent the 00's flooding the airwaves with increasingly thin pastiches of the 90's grunge sound/trashy nu-metal while ignoring the more interesting and downright poppy rock experiments happening in the underground. It gave mainstream audiences the impression that Rock had run out of gas as a genre while genres like electronica and rap were really flourishing on the majors. The only reason a similar thing didn't happen in the 90's is because Geffen managed to snap up Nirvana right as they were about to peak creatively.

2023-10-20 06:46:29 +0000 UTCI'll bite: which band of my generation (I was born in 1988) has been better across their discography than Radiohead? They're not my favorite band or so, but I just think "Radiohead is overrated" is such a tired take, is all.

2023-10-09 20:51:45 +0000 UTCBongos is sonically better than WAP. WAP was only a big deal because of the video and the song pissing off right wing media critics

2023-10-09 14:03:04 +0000 UTCRadiohead is a good band but not nearly as good as all the pretentious rateyourmusic members claim to be. 3 albums in the top 10 albums of all time is way too much.
2023-10-08 15:27:02 +0000 UTCInstead of an argument, I'd like to pose a question, inspired from a forum post I saw on AOTY; Imagine you are the host of a radio show, and you have the ability to bring in any artist (dead or alive) to ask them a question regarding a particular song they wrote. Which artist are you going with and what's the question you ask them?

2023-10-06 13:06:24 +0000 UTCAnthony was wrong about Born this Way and his review of it was disrespectful because he blatantly dismissed it as dumb pop music. Melons bro era.
