Pic 154: The Cenote Bath

Upon completion of the Mayan quiz room, you enter a "Cenote", what the Mayans call their cisterns where they collected rain water to drink or for crops.

Relay decides it would make a great place to swim, but lacking a bathing suit, you swim naked. Relay is shown here removing her hearing aid, since it is not supposed to get wet. That means no games of "Marco Polo" in this one.

One of my favorites. I learned a ton about lighting in Daz Studio making this section, might have to redo some poorly lit images from before.

The Evolving Plan

I'm starting to think long term where I am going with all this, and starting to develop a plan -- that of course keeps changing. My current thoughts revolve around the movie "Everything Everywhere, All At Once" which had three parts based on the title.

I'm thinking of doing the same. This part 1 section is "Dating", and it's basically a dating simulator. I've also started to assemble a structure. Each section has 3 branches: a "sexy" branch, a "nostalgic" branch, and a "Never done this before" branch. One of the three will include "lore" that will help in the part 2 section "in a World" which I don't want to talk about yet, because I'm still trying to figure it out. Part 3 will be titled "on Fire" of course, but that's all I'm sharing now.

Anyways, the three dinners were "sexy" VR, "nostalgic" pizza, and "never done before" group dinner. This is the "sexy" holo experience, the "nostalgic" holo is based on Duquesne as seen in my recent Ariane in Paradise promo pictures, and the "never done before" branch is logic puzzles in an Alice in Wonderland setting. I will probably expand pre-dinner along the same lines. My goal is to finish the holo trio this month and release it as the next update.

Comments

I got a year worth of notes in my Notion account with ideas I've thrown out. Always happens with every creative project. Right now I got an idea for an adventure for part 2 and realized this morning that the player character has no role in the adventure, so that has me scratching my head all day.

These are some gorgeous images. The backgrounds AND the subject. Clearly Relay is NOT skipping "arm day" (or "abs day" or "leg day" or ANY day) at the gym!

The "3 parts, 3 branches per part" format sounds really cool, Ari. I hope it works out well. I'm currently in the hated "try something, throw it out, try something else, and throw it out too" phase of something I'm working on. It sounds like you're coming out of that phase, which is always a relief. I'm looking forward to DiaWoF! --Tlaero
