Now that I have basically released the game there is not much new to show you. Last minute changes came from replacing pics in scenes that used the same pics in other scenes.
I do this a lot, but two scenes that were way too obvious were the two scenes with Maya in the Greenhouse. So I created three new pics in a different part of the greenhouse with Maya wearing different clothes. (the other scenes were Ariane sitting on the couch with a teal t-shirt. My solution there was to create some with Ariane in a red t-shirt, so they look different)
While doing the new Maya greenhouse pics, it occurred to me that I never properly showed off the greenhouse set in the game. I showed it off in Strip Crazy Eights, as the greenhouse is an alternate setting, but not in Hopepunk City. So I created a panorama.
Panorama rendering is a feature both Poser and Daz Studio are missing. They are both able to handle regular photography simulation, but cylindrical panoramas or 360 degree image rendering are not a feature of either.
So what you have to do is create a series of images, in this case 3, that overlap each other. Then I use an open source program called "Hugin" to merge the three pictures into a cylindrical panorama, and use a basic Renpy transition to pan the screen through it. I did five of these in the game, 3 in the cyberpunk like "Twiddler Commons", one with Ariane descending the stairs, and thought that one in the greenhouse would be an interesting contrast. Especially since this happens early in the game and is likely to be the first that players encounter.
