Funnily enough, because Season 4 never got dubbed, a ton of people assumed that Zane actually did die in Season 3. Probably one of the few times 4Kids actually killed off a character with their adaptation. Also, speaking of changes, I haven't seen you mention it, but Judai actually did get a design upgrade for this season. He has a lot more sharper angles and his pants are much darker, reflecting his acceptance of darkness and his more serious nature. Everyone is going through changes and it's nice to see.
