I've been looking forward to this one - we've reached the conclusion to Kyoraku & Nanao vs Lille, which introduces two controversial elements at once: Lille's 2nd form, and of course, Nanao's Shinken Hakkyoken zanpakuto! 2024-12-15 13:28:39 +0000 UTCI feel like the sword being ancient and so important the central 46 executed a noble for "losing" it is justification for it having the power it does. I wish we got more but I think the story around it and art this eepisode was so good I can overlook it.

2024-12-15 05:57:54 +0000 UTCLoved everything about this episode. The art is immaculate, the sound track is amazing, it was translated so well into anime form. The biggest thing that I am over the moon about is that how they handled Lille’s voice. I had been imagining it in my head since I first read it upon release that his voice in his second form is much higher and they nailed it almost exactly what I imagined. I imagined it to be slightly more echo-y than it was, but the high pitched ethereal voice was what I’ve been waiting to see for years now. I am so happy with what they have been able to do here, both episodes for this fight have just been perfect 10/10 for me.

2024-12-15 00:02:13 +0000 UTCYeah regarding there being 14 episodes this Cour, it’s been reported for a good long while now. And most recently there was a listing of the airing schedule for Disney+ France, the air slot for the 28th says episodes, PLURAL.

Lille looks amazing too, I'm glad to see more people come around to his second form it's always been one of my favorites. Side notes I don't know if it was revealed before but apparently, the names of Shunsui’s brother and Nanao’s mom are in the credits, Shunzan and Isuzu.

2024-12-14 22:01:48 +0000 UTCI thought it was a perfect adaptation of the manga, Lille looked amazing! Obviously Shinken Hakkyoken was presented as is, which still sucks, but the animation and Shunsui being my favourite helps push it to the side for me personally. 10/10 episode
