Reforma Noreste v.2 progress 2 (Spoiler alert)

We are getting closer to the release of Version 2 of the Noreste project. I know I previously said it would be ready in June, but it's not yet ready due to the size of the project and other real-life circumstances. So, I had to make some small changes to the release of this version. I still need to work on the city of Matehuala and two small towns in the region in order to release this project here on Patreon in July. I have decided to split the update into two segments since the amount of work done cannot be justified in a single month of creation. This project has taken me 4 months and counting, so splitting it will give me more time to work on the second phase without rushing.

The first release will come by mid-July, and it will consist of the remodel of some regions in the state of San Luis Potosi along the important MX-57 route, which is a major transport corridor in Mexico, serving as the main route between Mexico City and Texas. I wanted to give it a renovated look because the old recreation was not up to our new mapping standards and quality. The second release will come in August and will consist of the region south of Coahuila state. Yes, Saltillo City will be included in this second release with all new content. Currently, we are working on the city, and in the coming months, we will be working on more areas.

Meanwhile, for this month of June, I will offer all our current maps updated to the 1.48 open beta and the latest stable version for 1.47, along with Milton's most recent creation of Los Altos Beta 2, featuring the city of San Juan de los Lagos and Tepatitlan. Starting in July, we will continue working on the current Noreste project, revamping and creating new areas and roads to explore.

Another important note regarding the support of the project through Patreon: I have decided to remove the $4 USD tier. This is due to the recent economic impact, not only from inflation but also from the rise of the Mexican peso against the dollar. In the recent months of 2023, the dollar has lost 20% of its value against the Mexican peso, which affects the distribution of support to other collaborators and myself. Please consider changing your current $4 USD tier to the $5 USD tier or consider the recommended new tier of $7 USD. With the $4 USD tier, you will be able to access the next files for the 1.48 update, Pacifico, and Los Altos projects. However, starting in July, the $4 tier will not be sufficient for the new Noreste project. Thank you for your understanding and your support!

So, according to the new plans, in the first map, you can see the current progress and how the project will be split for the releases. All that you see on the map will be included in the first release of Version 2.

Nos estamos acercando al lanzamiento de la Versión 2 del proyecto Noreste.
