The third update for the Reforma Baja mod is now available, significantly expanding the map with the addition of the cities of Ensenada and San Felipe in Baja California. This update brings a diverse and immersive driving experience, connecting the Pacific coast with the Sea of Cortez through some of the most iconic landscapes in the region.
Travel along stunning coastal highways, pass through active industrial ports, and navigate winding mountain roads that climb through rugged terrain. As you continue inland, you’ll encounter vast desert landscapes, long open stretches of road, and remote areas that highlight the unique geography of Baja California.
This release focuses on variety and realism, offering a balance between urban deliveries, industrial logistics, scenic long-haul routes, and challenging roads. Whether you’re hauling cargo into port facilities, cruising along the coastline at sunset, or crossing the desert under open skies, this update delivers a fresh and memorable driving experience.
More content is already planned for future updates, as Reforma Baja continues to grow and connect additional regions of the peninsula.

As we close this year, I’d like to take a moment to share some thoughts on what 2025 represented and, more importantly, on the direction Reforma will take in 2026.
Over the course of the year, several regions were released for free into the base map, including cities and areas such as Torreón, Parras, Saltillo, Puerto Vallarta, Mascota, Ameca, and Tepatitlán, along with a deep rework of Zacatecas and Durango. These additions expanded the base map with new routes and cities while preserving visual consistency and quality.
At the same time, 2025 marked important milestones within the project. The city of Guadalajara was fully completed, closing a major chapter of the map. In parallel, development formally began on Monterrey, a large-scale city that will continue to be built in phases, and the Reforma Coahuila project was launched, giving shape to a new region with its own identity.
Looking ahead to 2026
With that context, 2026 represents a natural evolution of the project. The focus for the coming year shifts toward a different balance between urban areas and open routes, placing greater emphasis on landscapes, long-distance roads, and less densely populated regions.
During the first part of 2026, development will focus mainly on Baja California, expanding northward with desert environments, small towns, and long-haul routes, as well as on Coahuila, continuing the expansion of the remaining áreas of the state. These projects aim to cover broader areas of the map and introduce greater variety in driving environments.
Another key area for 2026 is Sonora, where major corridors are planned for rework (Mexico Federal route 15), along with general improvements to cities and mountainous regions. These updates will modernize areas that have not seen significant changes in several years.
In the second half of 2026, development may move in several directions. These include continuing the expansion of Monterrey (completing the city), starting community-requested projects such as Reforma Golfo, extending Reforma Extremo routes to crazy windy roads missing, or exploring projects outside the Mexico map, including expansions in the United States or new phases of Esterlon. The final direction will be defined as the year progresses.
In parallel, free content for the base map will remain part of the project in 2026, with planned releases for Baja California, Coahuila, and, eventually, the full integration of the city of Guadalajara into the Reforma base map once the required projects are completed.
To close, I’d like to thank the community for following the project and being part of its evolution. Reforma continues to move forward with a clear and flexible vision, maintaining its identity while exploring new regions and types of routes.
🚛 See you on the road in 2026.
Coahuila Project – Beta 2 Now Available: Connection to Texas DLC
The long-awaited connection to the Texas DLC is finally available. You can now cross the border at the Eagle Pass–Piedras Negras international crossing, seamlessly linking the state of Coahuila with Texas. Additional border crossings are planned for future updates, including Del Río–Ciudad Acuña and Laredo–Nuevo Laredo, further strengthening connectivity between Mexico and the U.S.
This update invites you to discover the beauty of northeastern Coahuila, featuring rolling hills, vast industrial complexes, and charming scenic towns such as Sabinas and Allende. The region combines heavy industry with rural landscapes, offering diverse driving experiences across highways, secondary roads, and industrial routes designed for long-haul trucking.
This release represents the second development phase of the Coahuila Project (Coahuila Beta 2). While this phase focuses on border connectivity and the northeastern region of the state, additional content is already in development. Upcoming phases will introduce the remote and isolated scenic roads of northwestern Coahuila, along with the city of Ciudad Acuña and its border crossing to Del Río.
Future updates will also expand into visually striking areas such as Big Bend National Park, bringing unique desert scenery, mountain roads, and immersive landscapes to explore. The next major update is currently planned for March or April 2026.
Thank you for your continued support as the Coahuila Project moves closer to completion—there is still much more to discover on the roads ahead.

USE ONLY the files above in the download link. (No other mega resources version than the above, not Reforma.) The use of other mods is at your own risk. I strongly recommend using only these two mods to help us test the map as normal.
Install. Place zReforma_esterlon_v1_6_10_157.scs into your mod folder, located at your documents/American Truck Simulator/mod, also do the same for the other file and place Reforma_MegaResources_v2_9_5_2_157.scs scs file into the same mod folder.
*Open up the game, in the main menu, directly hit the Manage Profile button *In your profile management, hit the button, "New Profile", it's important to create a new profile, rather than using an existing one to be able the mod to work properly.
*Do some basic configuration to your new profile, such as the character's name, picture, truck design, company image, and company name. It's preferred to select your local language (or English), not "united states as default" even if you are from the US, the map works in a metric system, so you can be able to match the truck speed limit with the signs. When you have done lastly, hit the Mod Manager icon at the top left.
*It's important to keep the LOAD ORDER in the mod manager as follows; -Reforma Esterlon v.1.6.10.157 -Mega Resources 2.9.5.2.157
This will allow the mod of Esterlon to read some specific assets that override some of Mega Resources assets. DO NOT use Esterlon in your normal profile or the base game (or along with the Reforma map, because this mod makes several changes over the map base which some stuff will be seen differently and might not be wanted.
*Lastly, at map module, select Esterlon.mbd and hit create button;
*Next you will have to set your controller setup and select your first location, which you can pick from these 5 cities; -Zacattle -Calera -Esteban -Felix Grove -Saint Louis -Edenrose -Wasper

For now, you can enjoy driving through this first stage and experience a new side of Mexico filled with vast open roads, warm tones of the desert sunset, and the unique charm of Coahuila’s remote landscapes.

As requested by the community, we are addressing the gap created between SCS’s Texas DLC and our Reforma content. This area, which covers the Mexican state of Coahuila, has been missing since the release of the Texas DLC three years ago, causing confusion among many users. For this reason, I am shifting my focus to this new beta project, while still continuing development on Reforma Baja.
This project will be divided into three phases (although I cannot guarantee exact release dates, since I am developing Reforma Baja in parallel—expect a mix of updates from both projects).
Phase One – Scheduled for release in October. This update will include the areas marked in red on the map, such as San Pedro, Cuatro Ciénegas, and Monclova, along with many scenic routes and towns to explore in between.
Phase Two – Planned for December. Shown in green on the map, this phase focuses on rural and remote desert regions of northern Coahuila, and even parts of Texas within Big Bend National Park. Expect plenty of dirt and gravel roads, hidden or secret routes, and even some mysterious surprises that I’ll be working on in the coming months. Honestly, this is my favorite part of the project, and I’m excited to bring it to life.
Phase Three – Targeted for early 2026. Marked in blue, this phase will complete the Coahuila project, finally connecting to the Texas DLC through the Piedras Negras–Eagle Pass and Ciudad Acuña–Del Río border crossings.
Additionally, there will be a connection to Marco’s Reforma Noreste project, leading to Monterrey (marked in purple). This may be released once Marco completes Beta 5 of Noreste, which includes the city of Escobedo, Nuevo León and the road to Monclova, probably by November this year.
Finally, depending on the release of ATS version 1.56 (likely this September), I plan to release an official Reforma update for that version before the end of the month. By mid-October, once I complete the city of Monclova, I will release the new update showcased here.
Thank you all for your continued support—your encouragement keeps me motivated to expand and improve this map of Mexico. I truly hope you enjoy the upcoming content!

The second version of Reforma Baja is now available. This update includes the east side of Tijuana (still a work in progress). You can access San Diego, California, through the Otay Mesa border crossing, as well as reach the city via both the toll road and the free road from Tecate.
This update also features hidden gems (easter eggs), allowing you to explore alternative ways to cross the border instead of the standard car crossing. In some cases, the GPS may direct you to the official truck crossing.
We will continue expanding the Reforma map and its extensions. In upcoming updates, our focus will shift toward the state of Coahuila and the city of Ensenada. The remaining sections of Tijuana will be completed over the next several months—or possibly longer—as those areas are less relevant to the trucking industry, which is the main focus of the game.
IMPORTANT; All map DLC needed for this update

I'm continuing to work on the city of Tijuana and its connections to San Diego, specifically at the Otay Mesa border crossing. You'll be able to cross in your truck using the official truck crossing, or alternatively, use the car lane—though doing so as a trucker will result in a fine.
As you can see in the images, building this city is a major challenge, so I kindly ask for your patience. The expected release date is mid to late August of this year (next month). I truly appreciate your continued support through this channel, which helps keep progress going.
The Tijuana project will be divided into three sections:
(1/3) First Release – Mid August: This will include everything shown in the current progress pictures. It’s still a work in progress, but will feature the Otay Mesa area, the border crossing, the industrial zone, Tijuana Airport, and the main toll highway from Tijuana to Tecate.
(2/3) Second Release – Expected in September: This part will add the "Zona Río," Tijuana River, the San Ysidro–Isleta border crossing, and the free road (“libre”) to Tecate (south side).
(3/3) Final Release – Expected in October: The last update will complete the city, including Playas de Tijuana (Tijuana’s beaches), the Pacific coastline, Rosarito, part of the scenic highway to Ensenada, and Libramiento 2000. After this, development will continue into Ensenada as the next major project.
Color Legend:
Yellow: Current areas from Baja Beta 1
Red: New content coming in August (1/3) – Baja Beta 2
Green: Planned content for September (2/3) – Baja Beta 2
Blue: Planned content for October (3/3) – Baja Beta 2
As you know, splitting large cities into phases is necessary during development. Creating a city is a significant challenge, especially when aiming to include as many realistic details as possible with the tools available in the in-game editor.

Fix Update Related to SCS Changes in ATS 1.55
We recently discovered an issue affecting all files, caused by changes in SCS’s game packing system for version 1.55. To ensure proper game performance, you must replace all previous files with the updated ones.
The old files were causing in-game stuttering and low FPS, which should now be resolved with this new repack.
Additionally, this update includes several bug fixes on the map based on recent user reports.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused, and thank you for your continued support and patience.

What does this new mod do? Use Only If You Don't Own the SCS DLC Extensions
This file is intended as a fix to prevent crashes to desktop or mod incompatibilities when you don’t own certain SCS DLCs. Note: This does not include extra map expansions from DLC.
We strongly recommend purchasing the original SCS DLCs through Steam for the best experience and full compatibility.
If you do own the original SCS DLCs on Steam, do not use this file. Using it may cause malfunctions or conflicts in the game.
If you don’t own the DLC and choose to use this file, the mod may work, but functionality is not guaranteed. You might encounter visual bugs such as pink-textured buildings or even game crashes in certain areas.
Place this file above all other mods (top priority)

This is a standalone map; it doesn't work with any other map mod or the base game. Please follow the installation instructions below to use this map.
USE ONLY the files above in the download link. (No other mega resources version than the above, not Reforma.) The use of other mods is at your own risk. I strongly recommend using only these two mods to help us test the map as normal.
Install. Place zReforma_esterlon_v1_6_7_155.scs into your mod folder, located at your documents/American Truck Simulator/mod, also do the same for the other file and place Reforma_MegaResources_v2_9_2_155.scs scs file into the same mod folder.
*It's important to keep the LOAD ORDER in the mod manager as follows; -Reforma Esterlon v.1.6.7.155 -Mega Resources 2.9.2.155
This will allow the mod of Esterlon to read some specific assets that override some of Mega Resources assets. DO NOT use Esterlon in your normal profile or the base game (or along with the Reforma map, because this mod makes several changes over the map base which some stuff will be seen differently and might not be wanted.
*Lastly, at map module, select Esterlon.mbd and hit create button;
*Next you will have to set your controller setup and select your first location, which you can pick from these 5 cities; -Zacattle -Calera -Esteban -Felix Grove -Saint Louis -Edenrose -Wasper

This is the FINAL update for the city of Guadalajara, which means the city is now 100% complete! You can now explore the northern areas and drive through the scenic, winding roads of the Huentitán Canyon, located along Federal Highway 54 towards Jalpa. Be amazed by the dramatic transition from dense urban landscapes to rural mountain scenery!
What’s next? We’re still working on reskinning the areas between Zacatecas, Jalpa, Jerez, and Tlaltenango with a fresh, updated look. Expect this to be included in the July update and ready for the final release of ATS version 1.55.
After that, I’ll decide whether to begin work on the city of Tijuana or complete the rest of the state of Coahuila. You can help me decide—leave your thoughts in the comments below!

Please note that this is the open beta version of both the game and the map. Currently, I cannot guarantee compatibility with third-party mods, so for testing purposes, please use this mod only with the base game map and no other mods.
Once version 1.55 is officially released to the public, I will provide compatibility patches and different versions of the map.
In the meantime, I’m offering early compatibility patches for other maps for future use. If you test these patches, please report whether they work once other map authors update their maps. This will help ensure everything functions properly when 1.55 is officially released.

This marks the initial release of the first phase of the Monterrey metro area project. The complete development will span several phases throughout the year. Most of the work has been carried out by Marco Esquivel, with planning and revamping by Eblem Torres.
You can also support Marco Esquivel through his Patreon for earlier access to his work than what is available here. I personally support him financially, as his work (and mine) is hosted here on Patreon.
This new extension includes additional roads and industrial zones on the outskirts of Monterrey, mainly covering the cities of Santa Catarina and García. The project is still a work in progress, and more content will be released in the coming months, including a full city build and a connection to the Texas DLC via Laredo.
We kindly ask that you keep this mod to yourself and avoid sharing it outside of Patreon. Recent leaks have affected our team's motivation and the progress of our work. Please do not support modding websites that distribute leaked paid mods. We understand the temptation to share mods for easier access, but I will continue to provide direct links and personal support for both free and paid content—without using restrictive methods to protect the files.
If you happen to see this content shared for free, don’t let it discourage you. Please keep supporting us. Your support means a lot to us and gives us the motivation to continue creating more content. ______

This update expands even more the city of Guadalajara to the north, and adds a windy scenic route to the same direction, Mexico federal route 23. Since the complexity of this update is divided into 2 segments, the first release, and later the second one, consider this is early access and work in progress as you will notice in some areas.
As you can see in map, marked in red, is the new extreme road route designed, the road between Tlaltenango and Jalpa was refreshed and skinned from scratch to give a new fresh look., which also is a extreme route to enjoy.
In yellow you can see the proposed plan until completition of the remaining of Guadalajara city and another extreme road route coming next!, also with some refresh of Jalpa, Tlaltenango, Calvillo, Colotlan towns and the landscape around.
You can see some WIP doing over the area! as a small hint you can overlook and fly to see the area im currently working on.
Completing this whole project will continue working on Reforma Baja the city of Tijuana, sorry for any delays caused by this project, but just wanted to complete this project before moving to somewhere else.
NOTICE! Remember to put Reforma Los Altos above Pacifico. Extremo MUST be above all these so you can properly see the map, see load order below.
Remember, this is an EARLY access file, so expect to see bugs, flying objects, errors, etc, please help testing and reports errors over my discord or right here in Patreon by contacting me.

This update significantly expands and optimizes large areas of Guadalajara, fixing various issues for a smoother experience. The final release version of Guadalajara will be included in Reforma Extremo Beta 2, which is still a work in progress.
The new areas introduce detailed urban landscapes, additional delivery locations, and driveable main avenues in Guadalajara, such as López Mateos and Lázaro Cárdenas. These avenues are restricted to commercial traffic but allow access to loading areas. Additionally, Periférico has been completed on the south side of the city, with the northern section coming soon in the final update. Periférico includes most of the city's industrial clusters, which you can now explore.
With this new version, the first beta of Extremo will be released for free, featuring extreme roads, as shown on the map. To prevent confusion with your load, I have included the Extremo 1.8.154 file, which serves no functional purpose. Later, I will release the second beta of Extremo, which will introduce more winding roads in northern Guadalajara, along with the final version of the city.
Reforma 2.8.7 – Official Release for ATS 1.54
This version primarily addresses major fixes related to the version change. The update was challenging due to significant instability issues that required extensive corrections. Some critical areas of the project were heavily affected, but I was able to resolve these issues with minimal impact. Notably, the Durango-Mazatlán Highway 40D and the hidden route from Canelas to Tamazula experienced the most changes and damage. Please report any bugs related to these areas. Additionally, I have implemented a new tunnel lighting effect by SCS in the same affected region, providing a fresh and immersive driving experience.
Enjoy the update, and happy trucking!
Changelog -Reforma 2.8.7, public release, new roads from Extremo beta 1, general fix to bug reported, fixed CTD areas in Durango state. -Mega Resources 2.8.3, updated for new assets by ChecoMx, Marco Esquivel, Milton Montes and Eblem Torres. -Reforma Pacifico 4.5 (compatibility update to Los Altos 4.0) -Reforma Los Altos 4.0 NEW!, Guadalajara city (3/4) -Reforma Noreste 3.11.154, fix update, added new configuration to tunnels. -Reforma Extremo 1.6.8, discontinued, but available to download to avoid confusions, all content from this mod is already included in Reforma 2.8.7. -Reforma Baja Beta 1.6, fix update and new Reforma map. -Reforma Sierra Nevada Remake 1.5.154, some minor fixes and compatibility update to 1.54
Known bugs -Apparently there are some issues with weather, showing drastic temperature changes in the truck dash, this may be due how the map is vertically scaled, which surpases the SCS scale temperature elevation to the extremes. -Also, the economy of the game may be affected also, due to the scale of the projkect and wideing roads makes longer routes and high paying, this may need to be addressed in the future, I couldn't find a solution.
NOTICE! Care about load order, new changes, you must place Reforma Los Altos Beta 4 ABOVE Reforma Pacifico Beta 4, look at the new load order.

Install. Place zReforma_esterlon_v1_6_6_154.scs into your mod folder, located at your documents/American Truck Simulator/mod, also do the same for the other file and place Reforma_MegaResources_v2_8_6_154.scs scs file into the same mod folder.
*It's important to keep the LOAD ORDER in the mod manager as follows; -Reforma Esterlon v.1.6.6.154 -Mega Resources 2.8.6.154
This will allow the mod of Esterlon to read some specific assets that override some of Mega Resources assets. DO NOT use Esterlon in your normal profile or the base game (or along with the Reforma map, because this mod makes several changes over the map base which some stuff will be seen differently and might not be wanted.
*Lastly, at map module, select Esterlon.mbd and hit create button;
*Next you will have to set your controller setup and select your first location, which you can pick from these 5 cities; -Zacattle -Calera -Esteban -Felix Grove -Saint Louis -Edenrose -Wasper

For some time now, we have been progressively making renovations to the Reforma map, just as we have in San Luis Potosí and Durango, in response to user requests to improve and optimize older areas. This month update was meant for the maintenance of Reforma map projects and MAJOR FIXES.
In this update, we have introduced improvements in the states of Durango and Zacatecas.
In the following map, you can see the areas worked on in this update marked in red, while the areas previously renovated over time are highlighted in yellow.
There are still many improvements and renovations to be made in older areas, inherited from the Hugoces map. These will be implemented gradually. We hope you enjoy these updates!

Thanks to your continued support, we're excited to share our upcoming projects for this year:
1. Reforma Rework
We’re revamping the base map, focusing on the states of Zacatecas and Durango—originally created in 2018. This update brings enhanced landscapes, improved mountain terrains, and reimagined small towns with better assets and road layouts. We’ve also optimized performance, addressing FPS drops and stuttering issues caused by past limitations. With refined mapping techniques, this fresh update will be available in February.
2. Reforma Baja v2
This update will introduce the city of Tijuana and is currently in the planning phase. We'll begin detailing this month and continue through March, aiming for a mid-to-late March release.
Some progress over the Pacific coast near Tijuana;
3. Reforma Noreste v3
The planning phase for Monterrey is now complete, with Marco leading the detailing efforts. Development will begin with Santa Catarina, a suburb of Monterrey. Given the scale of this project—comparable to Guadalajara—it could take up to a year to complete, with the first phases rolling out in the coming months.
As shown in the posted map, Monterrey is a massive city, featuring numerous delivery locations, gas stations, and rest stops. Its breathtaking mountain landscapes—including the iconic Cerro de la Silla and Cerro de las Mitras—will be a defining visual element.
Expect complex highway interchanges and intricate “spaghetti” junctions that will challenge urban driving skills. Additionally, some delivery routes will take you into the mountains, pushing truck engines to their limits.
4. Reforma Los Altos v4
The third update for Guadalajara is nearly finished and will soon be available on Patreon. This version expands missing sections of the city, enhances key industrial zones, and provides a more stable experience.
Green: Completed areas available in Reforma Pacífico v4 and Reforma Altos v3.
Yellow: Reforma Los Altos v4 (nearly completed).
Red: Reforma Extremo v2 (future development).
As shown in the image, there’s still work to be done to complete the Guadalajara metropolitan area.
5. Extremo v2
The fourth update for Guadalajara—focusing on the northern area—will be part of the Extremo project and is scheduled for release later this year. Completing such a complex city has been a long process, and we anticipate a similar timeline for Monterrey.
Extremo v2 will also introduce new road connections between Zacatecas and Guadalajara, crossing the infamous Sierra Madre mountains and the stunning Huentitán Canyon, making for an unforgettable trucking experience.
6. Reforma (Free Version)
The next free version of Reforma will integrate the Extremo v1 mod into the base map for the game’s 1.54 version, alongside the latest Reforma rework in Durango and Zacatecas, preparing the way for Extremo v.2.
Thank you for your patience and support—exciting updates are on the way! 🚛💨

Amarillo: Reforma Los Altos v4 (casi terminada).
Rojo: Reforma Extremo v2 (desarrollo futuro).
The fourth release of Reforma Pacifico, made by Marco Esquivel (supported him additional to have his work here) and planned by Eblem.

As we welcome the dawn of 2025, we extend our heartfelt wishes for a year filled with joy, prosperity, and success. We are deeply grateful for your continued support and enthusiasm, which drive us to keep improving and creating. May this year bring new opportunities, cherished memories, and shared adventures.
Reflecting on 2024
This past year has been a journey of creativity and growth. We’ve worked on several exciting projects, including:
Extremo Beta 1
Pacifico Beta 3 and 4: Zapopan, Ameca, and Tequila
Sierra Nevada Remake: Breathing new life into a classic favorite.
Baja Beta 1 with La Rumorosa and Tecate: Capturing the rugged beauty of northern Baja California.
Altos Beta 3: Guadalajara city
We also focused on integrating these updates with the California Rework from SCS Software and updates 1.50 and 1.53, ensuring compatibility and enriching the user experience.
Apologies for Deferred Plans
We acknowledge that some of our plans for 2024 did not materialize as promised. Notably, the Noreste Project faced delays due to unforeseen challenges. The lack of connections to Texas was primarily due to ongoing California reworks by SCS, which shifted our focus. We sincerely apologize for these delays and thank you for your patience. These plans have been carried forward to 2025, with renewed commitment to deliver.
Looking Ahead to 2025
We are excited to share our plans for 2025, which include:
Free Releases
Puerto Vallarta: Explore this stunning coastal destination.
Reforma Extremo Beta 1: A glimpse into an ambitious expansion, with Beta 2 also in progress.
Progress and Updates for Paid Content
Guadalajara by Milton: Completion of the entire city, expected release in February.
Reforma Baja Beta 2: Highlights of Tijuana
Reforma Noreste Beta 5 and 6: Connections to Texas, competition of Coahuila state.
Future Plans for Altos and Pacifico: Continued development in Jalisco.
Sonora Expansion
Plans originally scheduled for 2024 have been rescheduled for 2025. We will share a detailed map outlining the scope and goals, as well as the connections to other regions.
Addressing Texas Connections
While connections to Texas remain on hold, this decision stems from our prioritization of California’s remodels and SCS’s updates. We aim to tackle this challenge in 2025, aligning with future SCS developments.
New Possibilities
We are also exploring a potential Reforma Golfo Project to expand into new territories near the Gulf of Mexico, in the states of Tamaulipas and Veracruz. More details will be shared as the project evolves.
Thank You for Your Support
As we embark on another year, we remain committed to delivering high-quality updates, new content, and unforgettable experiences. Your feedback and encouragement fuel our passion, and we can’t wait to share what’s in store.
Here’s to an incredible 2025!

Extremo Beta 1
Pacífico Beta 3 y 4: Zapopan, Ameca y Tequila
Reforma Baja Beta 2: Tijuana
December 26 update!. General bug fixes for errors, invisible walls and other. Thank you for reporting, please re-download version 1.2!
This is the initial release of the first version of Reforma Baja, which's main focus is to create the Baja peninsula in Mexico. In this first release, we showcase the infamous road La Rumorosa and the town of Tecate, known for its popular beer. You'll be able to traverse both areas near the metropolitan area of Tijuana.
Due to the recent release of SCS California rework I had to postpone this project until now, which of course I'm preparing the city of Tijuana (in the works) for the next release of Beta 2 of the same project, which will include a connection to California by both huge border crossing of Otay Mesa (for trucks) and San Ysidro (as eye-candy).

It's preferred to select your local language (or English), not "united states as default" even if you are from the US, the map works in a metric system, so you can be able to match the truck speed limit with the signs. When you have done lastly hit the Mod Manager icon at the top left.
*It's important to keep the LOAD ORDER in the mod manager as follows; -Reforma Esterlon v.1.6.5.153 -Mega Resources 2.8.1.153
This will allow the mod of Esterlon to read some specific assets that override some of Mega Resources assets. DO NOT use Esterlon in your normal profile or the base game (or along with the Reforma map, because this mod makes several changes over the map base which some stuff will be seen differently and might not be wanted.
*Lastly, at map module, select Esterlon.mbd and hit create button;
*Next you will have to set your controller setup and select your first location, which you can pick from these 5 cities; -Zacattle -Calera -Esteban -Felix Grove -Saint Louis -Edenrose -Wasper

I’d like to share my most recent work on the Reforma Baja project, which showcases the city of Tecate (located just after the windy route through La Rumorosa). As you can see from the pictures, this border town features some manufacturing industries.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to include a border connection to the U.S. due to the city’s design and the scale of the game. Tecate is located several kilometers from the actual border, and I also had to adjust the highway’s trajectory to provide more space for the elevation changes as the route descends to the coast.
The pictures also show progress on the first build of Tijuana. I’ll be starting work on it soon. The Baja California project will be divided into three phases:
Phase 1:
La Rumorosa, Tecate, and the eastern part of Tijuana, including the border connection at Otay Mesa.
Completion of most of Tijuana, extending to the coast.
Expected release: February 2025.
Phase 3:
Federal Route 1 (Escénica) to Ensenada, including the city of Ensenada and connections to Tecate and other remaining routes.
Expected release: April or May 2025, completing the project.
Additionally, other projects are in the works:
The new version of Pacífico Beta 4 is planned for release in January.
Altos Beta 4 and other surprises will also be coming soon.
Thank you for your support and for taking the time to read this update! I look forward to continuing to receive your support as we move forward.
