Reforma Noreste & Reforma Los Altos (coming soon!)

Introducing a fresh new project over northeast Mexico in preparation for the upcoming Texas DLC, similar to Chihuahua project that was made few years ago with the “betas” process, we will work on different betas for this project as well. Let me summarize with a map.

The new project area will consist of the creation of the 3 Mexican states of Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas, which will consist and will be divided into different sectors beta.

COAHUILA STATE (Beta 1, Beta 2, Beta 3)
BETA 1
Is the red line in the map, will consist of the construction of the city of Torreon (next to Gomez Palacio) and Mexico Federal Highway 40 to Saltillo city, and Mexico Federal Highway 54 to Concepción del Oro. Some of the pictures shown in this post will feature this update coming late September this year.

BETA 2

The blue line in the map, consists of the construction of the city of Saltillo and the road connecting to Matehuala (rebuild some of the city), Mexico Federal Highway 57, which is already present in some of the pictures here.

This area is under construction as well, which could take until December this year for completion. Starting in 2023 we will be focusing to the connections to Texas DLC, once texas is released to the public.

BETA 3

Is the green line in the map, which will focus on desert areas over the northern area of Coahuila state, and the construction of cities such as Monclova, Frontera, and Sabinas, if Texas DLC is released afterward, will expand the beta 3 into Acuña and Piedras Negras, depending on what's on the American side of the area made by SCS.

NUEVO LEON STATE (Beta 4, Beta 5, Beta 6)

BETA 4
Is in the purple line on the map, which will focus on the connections to the border with Texas DLC, libramiento Monterrey (bypass), and other connections to Coahuila state. Possibly Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, as the main target city of this project connecting to Laredo.

BETA 5
Is it yellow in the map, which will focus on the creation of the city of Monterrey, and some other minor connections south to Tamaulipas state.

BETA 6

In grey in the map, AFTER TEXAS DLC
Ensure all connections to Texas DLC
After SCS releases Texas some point early 2023 (my bet, not confirmed date of release), I’ll have to work over the connections as a priority;
-Juárez, Chihuahua with a connection to El Paso, Texas
-Nuevo Laredo, Tamp with a connection to Laredo, Texas (Beta 4 if done before)

-Matamoros, Tamp with a connection to Brownsville, Texas
As confirmed cities to be included in Texas DLC, yet to see if those cities make into the game;
-Presidio, Texas, for the proper connection to Ojinaga, Chihuahua, otherwise I would need to create a new road to US-90 or whatever-
-Del Rio, Texas, for the proper connection to Acuña, Coahuila

-Eagle Pass, Texas, for the proper connection to Piedras Negras, Coahuila

-McAllen, Texas, for the proper connection to Reynosa, Tamaulipas.

TAMAULIPAS STATE (Beta 7 and beyond)

Those routes marked in black is the remains of the competition of the project Reforma Noreste, which will include the cities of Victoria, Tampico, San Fernando, Tula, and other towns inland of the state.

As shown in the map, this whole area of south Coahuila state, the city of Torreón, Saltillo, and the remodel of Matehuala, as mentioned, the first Beta will be released in late September and the second beta in late November or into December this year, doesn’t cover that much area, but there are two densely big cities to be recreated.

Reforma Los Altos

Milton, a Reforma developer who is also helping make more content into central Mexico has started the big task of going into densely populated areas, this first phase of his project will be the construction of east of the state of Jalisco a region known as “Los Altos”, which takes for this project name, he will also be releasing closed betas under his PayPal (paypal.me/elmilton) or shortly after (no more later than a month), will also be available right here in my Patreon, which of course I have paid Milton for his work for you have it also here.

JALISCO STATE (Beta 1, Beta 2, Beta 3)
BETA 1
Is the red line in the map, which shortly soon will be available, this beta compasses the cities of Encarnación de Diaz and Lagos de Moreno, Mexico Federal Highway 45 and 80. Some of the pictures shown in this post will feature this update coming soon!

BETA 2

The blue line in the map, consists of creating the cities of Tepatitlán and San Juan de Los Lagos over Mexico Federal Highway 80, which hopefully have this area done in late 2022 or early 2023.

BETA 3

We are still discussing the possibility of Beta 3 the creation of the city of Guadalajara or either continuing the development of Guanajuato state, along with other people working on different areas of the map for compatibility, we will inform you later about the new decision taken by this route.

Q.A.

Why did you decide to take Reforma Noreste as a priority over other projects?

Because of the upcoming Texas DLC by SCS Software, there will be an empty void that will require attention and making the connections to have a square box-up map.

Right after Texas DLC releases, will Reforma work with it?

No, it won't work due to the changes made in the El Paso region by SCS, I will have to provide a quick fix or compatibility update to Texas DLC specifically into the El Paso region for able to initially work with Reforma, later when the project continues, more connections will come.

Will project Reforma Noreste be eventually released for free?
Yes, as with every other project made by us, eventually the map will be released for free for periods of time after being published here on Patreon.

What will happen to Esterlon?

It is on hold for the moment what remains of this 2022, until the completion of Reforma Noreste project. Eventually, I plan to continue developing Esterlon in 2023 with new exciting road routes and cities.

Will Esterlon be released for free?
Yes, right after the first launch of Beta 1 of Reforma Noreste, we will be releasing Esterlon to the public for everyone to try out.

Will you continue updating Reforma map, Esterlon and other mods?
Yes, I will continue updating all Reforma content for future versions of the game or DLCs.

How is Milton work to be included in Eblem’s Patreon?
