Book 6 Early Access: Chapter 6
Added 2023-09-15 17:29:57 +0000 UTCWhile chapter 5 was dark, grim, and serious, this one is anything but! We've entered the Fun & Games portion of the Academy Arc, which serves as a lighthearted rest for the reader and a chance for some side content and characters to get explored.
This is where larger branches are easier to make (and fit better inside the narrative). The scenes themselves, while still important, have a lot more leeway on how you can approach them. In the previous book, Book 5, during the Escape from Hokusei Arc, the Fun & Games start when you choose to join up with the Uesugi or the Equalists.
Both take you to the Takeda mansion later on, but that chapter plays a lot differently depending on which side you picked. You can expect something similar in this chapter and the next. With that said, it can be difficult to read very branchy segments in my custom scripting language, so I apologize beforehand if it's tricky to follow!
