I always enjoyed finding side content and lore through scattered items and landmarks. It's a cool way to include scenes that don't quite fit in the main game as you say. This sounds exciting. Secret areas are also fun to explore. Hope to discover some interesting scenarios or story lines. Looking forward to the next update. Also nice mermaid/siren.
