Raider.IO Update - April 2024

Hello Raider.IO fans and supporters! It has been some time since we have posted here, but we've been doing some updates and changes and we wanted to let you know what kinds of things we have cooking in the Raider.IO kitchen.

You may have noticed our updated About Us page - take a look if you haven’t seen it yet, and learn all about our journey from a small passion project to a community hub - a journey we couldn’t have made without our Patrons!   

PATREON TIERS

We made some changes to our Patreon tier system in 2023. Our current tiers are Revered, Exalted, and the recently added Illustrious. For those of you on our older tiers (Friendly/Honored), the current options may offer more perks and exclusive features that will require you to upgrade your tier to access. 

Revered Patrons receive the standard perks and features, such as no ads while browsing Raider.IO, no score minimums, priority queue, more frequent addon updates, and so much more! If you subscribe at the Exalted level, you’ll receive all of the perks that come baseline with Revered, but with improvements and additions: Addon updates happen 2x as often for Revered Patrons, your queue priority is higher, you can create up to 2 unique URLs, and more. If you opt to subscribe at the Illustrious Patron level, you can update whenever you choose with the ultimate priority queue, you can create up to 4 separate Mythic+ Teams, and all of your Characters, Guilds, and Teams will be auto-scanned every day! 

NEW PERKS

Additionally, we’ve added a number of new features and perks to all of our Patron tiers that we’re excited to share with you:

• All Patrons get higher priority to have their Recruitment profiles shown on the FRONT PAGE, and Illustrious Patrons get a special border on their profiles to help create a bigger impression! Recruiting is already hard enough, so we want to help make it easier for you!

  

• A typical user’s message threads in the Recruitment Messaging system are automatically removed after 3 weeks of inactivity, but this is increased to 2 months for all Patrons, giving you more flexibility in your Recruitment process!

• Illustrious Patrons now have a new perk allowing them to rescan ALL of their characters with the push of a button. Refreshing your Battle.net account will automatically trigger a rescan of every character on your profile. Gone are the days of having to manually refresh each one… alt players rejoice!

• All Patron levels have exclusive profile borders and badges on their characters pages indicating their Patron status, as well as highlighted names in all Leaderboards. Show off your support for Raider.IO!

  

   

• As always, our Patrons receive early access to exciting new features, just like in 2023 when we gave Patrons a first look at our incoming systems in conjunction with new family member Keystone.Guru: the Auto Route Creator and Mythic+ Replays

WHAT'S NEXT?

• We’re turning up the HYPE for our favorite event, the Mythic+ Charity Pro-Am, coming on May 25th! Registration is open NOW, so check out the event hub and sign up to play with some of the most familiar faces in the WoW community!   

• Season 4 launches in less than a week, with a new dungeon pool of all Dragonflight dungeons, and the Awakened raids. It's time to get back in there and climb those leaderboards!

• Be sure to keep your eyes on the Raider.IO YouTube Channel for more RIO Snapshots -- quick 30 second videos with tips and tricks for Mythic+ dungeons. We've also got some other great video content on our YouTube, including our new Battlefield Banter series... go check it out.

• The Arena World Championship and The Great Push are on deck next for WoW Esports, and registration is still open for both events. You can earn the Seasonal in-game Banner toy by participating in any of the WoW Esports programs -- so head on over to raider.io/tournaments to register!

• As the Official tournament platform of WoW Esports, we're also the place to go to follow along with the AWC and TGP, both for LIVE updates, coverage, and analysis and for brackets, leaderboards, and more.
