#SexDungeon23: Corrupt Cathedral (Room 278-282)
Added 2023-11-15 12:56:08 +0000 UTCProgress is still a bit stuttering. I had to sneak in some time to look up what the typical architecture of a cathedral looks like to get the layout right. I'll post the rooms as I write them and try to be somewhat caught up by the end of the month.
ROOM 282: CATHEDRAL ATRIUM (TEMPLE JEZEBEL)
While walking around the edges of the atrium, the player will be dragged into one of the side alcoves by an over-enthusiastic TEMPLE JEZEBEL.
FIGHTFUCK: TEMPLE JEZEBEL
If the player is following the cryptic advice to have sex with one of the TEMPLE JEZEBELs, they might think this a way to get that done.
Unfortunately, this is not the case. The TEMPLE JEZEBELs have a very hands-off 'fighting' style. They mostly 'fight' by dancing and showing off their marvellous supple bodies. They only have sex once they've completely broken the will of the target. At which point it's a game over BAD END where the player loses their mind and becomes another 'worshipper'.
ROOM 281: CATHEDRAL ATRIUM (JEZEBEL TRAP)
This is a stunning TEMPLE JEZEBEL standing in front of one of the cloaked alcoves. She will offer to 'bless' the player.
The TEMPLE JEZEBELs are a strange mix of appearances. They look like mostly-naked pagan priestesses with gorgeous bodies. Their only non-human appearance is the possession of antlers that are easy to mistake for a pagan headdress.
If the player accepts, she will take them through to her private space – a curtained off area with cushions between two columns that resembles the interior of a tent.
At this point the player might have been told that the 'blessing' is to have sex with one of the jezebels. However, the JEZEBEL NPC will insist on dancing for the player first.
This is the trap. The main feature of the TEMPLE JEZEBELs is that their bodies look supernaturally gorgeous. Enough to take a man's will away. As she dances the player will realise the sight of her nubile body is having a hypnotic effect.
They can leave early with no penalty. Staying too long will require WILL checks to leave once the player realises the player. If the player doesn't get the hint, or remains convinced they need to stay to have sex (likely through bad advice from the BEGGAR), it will eventually result in them being totally mesmerised. The JEZEBEL NPC will have sex with them, but it will be no good. Once a player has lost their WILL, she will make him her slave and the player will join the other mindless 'worshippers'.
ROOM 280: CATHEDRAL ATRIUM (NPC BEGGAR)
Not far from the blocked exit is an NPC in ragged clothes and a very untrustworthy, ratty face.
He will offer to tell the player what is meant by the 'blessing'… for a price.
What the player needs to do is have sex and ejaculate inside one of the TEMPLE JEZEBELs in order for their semen to be blessed. However, it needs to be the right one and they will have conditions that need to be met.
However, the BEGGAR NPC will be very cryptic about it. The player has the option to not pay, or pay 3 different amounts (each with a cryptic hint).
A further factor will be how wealthy the player looks (either based on equipped gear or total GOLD). If the player chooses not to pay and looks wealthy, the BEGGAR will give them abuse. If the player looks poor, they will get a vague hint to have sex with one of the TEMPLE JEZEBELs.
Paying the BEGGAR the lowest amount will get a similar vague hint.
Paying the medium amount will give a better explanation (a pointer to which JEZEBEL to go to and what each needs).
Paying the maximum amount will result in bad advice that will get the player killed if they follow it. There will be an early hint that the BEGGAR despises the really wealthy.
There might also be an option to fetch him an item from an earlier level (some sort of keepsake with personal relevance), in which case the BEGGAR will be grateful enough to give exact instructions on what is required.
(This might make for an interesting secret option – paying the BEGGAR always results in bad advice. The player needs to bring them something instead.)
ROOM 279: CATHEDRAL ATRIUM (EXIT)
The exit from the atrium and entrance to the cathedral building proper is on the far side of the courtyard. The player can pick their way gingerly through the perverse debauchery to find a big set of double doors overseen by a pair of NAUGHTY NUNs. They will part as the player approaches to reveal the doors embossed with another design of an overly sexualised 'saintess'.
The player will probably assume it's the same deal as before and they'll need to get out their cock and ejaculate on the door design.
On this occasion it does not have the desired effect.
One of the NAUGHTY NUNs will smirk and cryptically tell the player they need to be 'blessed' without telling them what that means and how to achieve it.
Time to explore the atrium in more detail.
ROOM 278: CATHEDRAL ATRIUM
On the other side of the entrance is the cathedral atrium. This is a large courtyard surrounded by a colonnade on all four sides. In it's previous life as a place of worship, the cathedral's atrium would have been a place for quiet, contemplative reflection. Now it has a gaudy, perverse carnival atmosphere.
TEMPLE JEZEBELs are putting on live sex shows on a central stage and at other places around the courtyard. A man is in stocks and getting whipped. Another is tied to a wooden cross while being fellated by a TEMPLE JEZEBEL. The activities are being watched over by NAUGHTY NUNs.
Parts of the colonnade are partitioned off with brightly coloured silk sheets. TEMPLE JEZEBELs take men into these spaces for sex. It's fairly clear the whole area is more open air brothel than place of worship.

I'm still trying to nail it down. I want it to have different areas that feel distinctive and different. But I also want to keep to the general idea that the city has been taken over by succubi/monster girls and turned into a massive brothel. I think I veered away from that into generic dangerous demon city. To return to the original idea, the front-facing regions need to be more Interspecies Reviewers (punters can come and go without having their lives/souls completely drained), with the dangerous parts being when the player goes behind the safe 'fronts'. For that to work, the soul drain part needs to be more subtle - eg humans lose part of themselves each time, but it takes a while before they become empty mindless slaves/husks. On top of that will be various politics. Every so often the daemons might just grab someone and 'drain' them to zero. They might have internal politics that set different groups against each other. eg. For a regular human visiting Ur-Carnosa: - might get a naughty weekend experience and go home having only had a little bit of their soul sucked. - might get randomly grabbed and 'eaten' because they're alone and won't be missed. - might get taken for political reasons. Or conversely, might get VIP treatment for political reasons. - might get a little too nosy, learn something they shouldn't, and be 'disappeared'. I don't think I've got that right at the moment. But it's an early brainstorming exercise. It's to give me something to work with later, and it's pretty good at that... when I can keep it on schedule. :D

You are just a nameless dude doing a Halloween tour in a graveyard, but you accidently summon a ancient clown demon that proceeds to turn the graveyard into a huge carnival. Armed with a shotgun, you explore different parts of the horror carnival trying to escape, facing zombies, killer ghosts, cannibal serial killers, hideous mutants, spiders, demon Santa Klaus, demonic imps and so on. Sex Dungeon feels like an erotic version of Carnevil as you trying to escape a city ruled by monsters that are hostile to humans.
